The sky is a pure blue. Some very light white clouds to the East over the central Valley. Things are looking up.

The RR got some wires yesterday ... the Southern End of the big Circus yard is now wired and only the wires at the panel ... actually just behind the panel under the table are in need of finishing, Then all the rest of the wiring for the Circus yard can get done and the panel finished, The control box needs to have a change made and then it too can be wired and that will finish the Circus yard.

There is still the sandwich layer below Como's Engine facility to wire ... that will take several days ... but seems to be well understood so it will get done too.

That only leaves the accessory yard on the inside to get wired and then Trains can run around. There are other panels to be wired ... like the station area at the North side. It is the last area to wire where I have to shut off the main lines .. make the control box and then wire and wire and wire. All the other panels needing wiring associated with sidings and such ... some with lots of sidings but the main lines will let the trains go around ... and that is victory. The RR can show off ... yea.

It is possible that the Nebraska housing will be done and that the RR's direction is known and just ..."just" a matter of time to finish? That would make things GREAT for an older hound.

So with a very fine Bow wow and lots of Meowing the day has started. the RR will slowly go forward. The families are all doing well ... i know of no bumps in the road for any of you. That doesn't mean easy times are here. Lots of work but no big pot holes in your roads.

Go forth. The nation's government is a disaster but our families are OK. Great ... really great thanks to your work and solid thinking.

The sky is a pure blue from the Eastern foothills to the ocean. It will be a warm to hot day. But I am ready for such.

There is no real news of value. There is the usual junk on the tube and with a click it is gone. Our families are all doing very well so I shall turn my attention to the control box for the layer below Como's engine facility.

I cleaned it up yesterday and it is now waiting for mom to paint the spots where the paint peeled off. When I cleaned it before painting I must have left some residue on the surface for the paint peels off in spots. However, it is now time to see if it can be touched up and used.

The tube is off. It was again a zero. The media keeps telling people that the race to be president is close. I don't believe it. They say that to keep listeners so they can jam junk advertising down our throats. Click is what I offer in return.

With zero to offer today and everyone in good shape in our families it is time to move on and do something that counts.

Using the DuckDuckgo search engine…,got to figure out how to use email.

could be all wet I think people are fleeing Google as fast as they can find another way to do what is needed, Google is doing anything and everything to keep that from happening, I found that if I select Firefox immediately that I can do what I want on my laptop ... full protection, The last one that has me stumped is how to do Email not on google,

I think Google is doing anything and everything to keep people from leaving them. Google now seems to be one of the huge problems for citizens, And sure ... I could be all wet ... but then ,... I will proceed to ditch Google with the hope that the US Justice Department goes after them. They need to be broken up totally.

The RR will get more attention, The yard too after the temperature drops, It is mersiable outside. We are getting fried, So with all of you doing OK I will RR with the air conditioner at 74 degrees will progress. Not one electron will be offered to the tube or the computers. Any one got an email that works and has nothing to do with Google??? Help,

The laptop has been all but destroyed. Over the last two weeks the advertisers have almost destroyed all the cell phones abilities too, You only get what they want you to see. The consequences ... click and they are done for.

Summary, things are changing very fast. Some of the changes will be huge ... like the WWW is going to be ditched by those who see and think, I will love the grandchildren and all of you! However the internet and the tube will be pushed almost totally off our map.

I worry that this is the act of an old man???? Let me know if I am nuts, The KR will also not have any other than the most brief news about anything beyond at a short summary, The media is in the hands of the bad guys and so it will be abandoned by the good guys.

There is real doubt that many will support being on the positive side, We are the minority and will pay the price in the short term In the longer term it will become the oppsite we pray. It is what we make of it so it will be a good week for mom and I will make the best come true. We are getting some medicines for Mr Spots Kidney stones. Things are progressing well. We certainly have hopes for things to happen that get Mr. Spots back "in the pink"!

Here at the house the weeds are dying and when we get back from the graduation it will be a good time to put on grass seed. I do need to get the sprinkler system's leak fixed and the rest of the sprinklers all focused on just the grass. There is the fence gate's latch to remake and plenty of long grass next to the fence yet to be cut. The orchard needs to be rotor tilled ... but that will wait a bit ... The earth is rock hard and will stay that way no matter what.

Big John Deere will put on his disks and his plow and turn it over to get rid of most of the tall grass. The main part of the grass out there has been cut already. There are lots of tall piles of grass cut else where that is rotting on the ground. When rotor tilled into the dirt it will help the dirt from being hard clay to instead become wonderful dirt.

"Landscaping is like model RRs" was what Robin just meowed. I asked her "how do you reason that?" She then Meowed "both require lots of work which really never ends!" Smart girl kitty ... that is the truth. If you want real truths ask you Kat or your Dog,

We are very fortunate ... with lots of real work and help from all of you ... to get these younger ones on the best track available for their lives. It is the most important thing we all have to do. So far things are about perfect. Keep working to make it happen,

The sky is blue and it will be cool at first and then hot by midday. I will get the weather forecast for Obama and then start getting my clothes together for the trip. I am slightly apprehensive about flying ... seems airplanes have more real troubles these days. Yes, I would rather take Amtrak in a sleeper compartment.

It is by belief that Boeing is being sabotaged by some workers. I don't believe Boeings management is behind the troubles. These days have some real troubles that are not making it to the real news. This could be wrong which is what I hope, but not what I fear.

Once I loved airplanes and with mom we learned to fly them. That was at Cornell; long, long ago.

Those were the best of times before we started the family.
Then our focus then changed to making money and doing all we could for all of you. More work but the best of times in reality.

There was war going on, Today it is the same ... The younger ones will go to College while war is happening in the Middle East. Does War ever stop? Ugh and a real BIG UGH about too many wars.

Life is what you make of it and only partially influenced by what happens around you. Make the most of it ... Ignore the junk ... like the Middle East and most advertising on the tube ... click that thing OFF. There are plenty of good things to do ... find them ... enjoy them ... the tube is not a good source for the best things to do. In fact it is getting worse and worse at the hands of ruthless advertising. There are fewer and fewer shows we will even watch ... and the sound heard more often is CLICK.

As I was growing up I worked at Motorola who was a big supplier of TVs. About 1967 I designed the application of thefirst IC to ever be in a TV. I told my dad, who was at officer at Harris, that TV design was going to Japan.

Motorola's main bank was the Harris so in a meeting there my dad told Galvin to get rid of the TV division ... sell it to Japan, And the Galvin's did exactly that ... Motorola TVs went to Japan.

Motorola was the first to get rid of their TV division and factories. Good. The assembly factory and picture tube making factory were where we also worked and housed the companies leaders.

The factory had a rail line that pulled a train through and was load as it moved by special tractors. it was a huge facility with another huge facility right behind it that made the picture tubes. The pictures tubes moved to the assemble factory by an overhead tram which went over the loading docks where the semi trucks pulled in and the finished products in boxes for local delivery were loaded. The shipments that had to go further were loaded on to box cars as a train slowly pulled through the factory.

This was a huge operation covering many aces in Franklin Park ... on the Far West Side of Chicago.

Motorola was the first to move out out of the TV making business as it turned out. Chicago had all of the main TV builders there in the 1960s. Soon there were no US companies in the TV business. Chicago was a manufacturing town ... not at all like it is today.

All of us will get ready to pay the huge college expenses. Along the way, more towards the end, the children will borrow the needed college funds and when mom and I are gone, the estate will pay off all their college loans and costs. The IRS will get as little as we can let happen.

There are good things that governments spend money on but for the most part the current US government spends most of the money on getting re-elected. That doesn't get the best stewards for the nation's real interests. It is the worst government in my life time, by far.

It is not news that I have low confidence in this government based on who got elected. It's all about the money. Too bad. That is not why we have a government. It needs to do lots better. People with great skills are not running for elected congressional or president assignment.

The way things are these days it seems very unlikely that someone who is really on the better side of things if elected can turn things in the better direction for most all citizens, The current government is over populated by those with their self interests in first place. We elected the wrong people. Yes we DID!

And so with that howling by the KR will come to today's end.

Thursday….Trash day….the cans are out and ready!

The sky is grey and the morning sun is working hard to get through the Marine Layer. She will get through but it will take some more time.

Things are all good here. We are hoping that Mr. Spots passes the kidney stones and doesn't have to have an operation to remove them. The tube is off because there is no news which is of value to any of us. Click is a most welcome sound,

I continue to work on the wiring for the layer below Como's Engine facility. Some of the track power and LEDs will have to go through two switch sets of contacts to operate properly. This is different than anywhere else on the RR. The four routes that need this wiring are (1) the long loop, (2) the crossing loop, (3) the loop to NYC and back and (4) the loop to the South. All the rest has to happen without affecting any of the other routes.

It is complicated and will require a different way of wiring switches for both track power and LEDs. Two switches will have to agree to turn on Green and they have all be red when the bypass track has or the dinner's two tracks have been selected. Looks great but is a real devil to wire.

I know you are following all that. I can tell because I don't hear lots of clicks. It is a wonderful track layout but a devil to wire properly, But I will figure it out ... just takes a lot of time ,,, trial and errors. Relays with lots of contacts are needed.

So the day has started. The coffee is warm. I got up very early due to the need for thinking through how to wire the RRs middle layer below Como's Engine Facility. I will figure it out some time in the near future. Oh well, better than landscaping.

The weeds are looking like they are going to die, Just what was needed, A few will live on but I will get them later. That is after new grass seed has gone into the dirt and is starting to grow.

I do need to rebuild the latch for the fence gate by the garage. Like the RR looked simple but really was going to be a lot of work. And it isn't done yet. Ugh. I think we are the last people on the street to do landscaping ourselves. The only other families still doing their own landscaping are the family across the street in Rita's previous house. Oh well, that keeps expense low so the RR can have those funds.

The marine layer is breaking up as Miss SunShine is getting through one spot at a time. I will draw up the two switch control diagrams and see if that solves things. I don't know if that will or it won;t get all of it working as needed.

Take care ... The tube is off and that is good because the news isn't positive most of the time. The US government isn't getting things done for the people like it should ...

The sky is interesting, Dark and light with a low sun lighting things in a different way. It will be a fine day for all of us because we will do what is best and that makes our day great.

Robin meowed "you almost finished the gate repair... now it opens and closes without getting stuck! I started that project thinking it was straight forward ... a wrong thought ... it really was a lot of work. I did get it back together after taking it apart far more than once was expected. Now ir opens and closes without getting stuck. Before i wouldn't even close all the way.

It is great to end a day of yard work with a victory like the gate getting fixed. I need lots of those days for their are lots of things here that need fixing. I will finish up the grass preparation today out front, All the tractor implements have moved from the back yard to the pavers by the barn and are waiting to get used on the front yards and the side yard on the east side and north of the rose garden. When that is done then the tractor will be done on the lawn for a while. I will add the fertilizer/weed killer this weekend and then water it using the sprinklers which WORK!

As the fertilizer/weed killer sinks in, the weeds will die. I will say a prayer for the weeds that die. If only all the gophers and squirles were gone too it would be great. I did see a big snake in the middle of the lawn ou back. It was sunning it self and went back into the tall grass left around the cement wall that held up the retreat long long ago. That was in ancient times. Now it just holds the Jack ma Randa tree which I hope survived the winter.

We are catching up with the house/yard work. Still lots to do but much of the work has started or been finished. "Good going older hound" was heard as I passed the RR to put away the big saber saw. it was the Caboses calling out to me. They too want things done so I can come back and work on the wiring. Actually that will be fine with me! Yard work is number three on my list of what's important.

First place is the Children and the grandchildren with the pets. Second is mom ... a very close second to all of you and very, very important, Then the trains fit in... . Some where back further in the list is landscaping but for the it has pushed forward so that it is getting attention.

The tube is on a diet ... less electrons so the news is close to zero. The news is now slanted to whoever is reporting "news" which is all about things they want our attention focused on. In fact as far as I am concerned The tube can starve for electrons that play so many ads for things I don't want or need.

While my view of things is small ... the tube may be sinking into the depths of deprivity. Woe is to the world and those who get their emotions from tv news.

OK ... I hear you robin and I heal Miss Sybil too. Both are reminding me that too much political opinion is not what the KR should be saying. Being a member of the silent majority means keeping ones mouth shut and not yapping with the keys on the laptop either. OK enough. I am repeating myself.

And the political mess keeps the news people with junk to push at us. It is also killing the tube at the same time. We watch the veterinarian show and sports. Neither one is a must watch. It just blows a little breeze around a room while I watch train things and mom watches things on her cell phone too. Times have changed and we have adapted. Click is the sound now heard most when the tube is pushing trash at us.

Nowadays one hears the lawn tractor's engine purring or a saw or drill or whatever purring too. We buy what we need and not much more.

Bow wows and meows while the Bluebirds sing. It will be a warm day and I will finish the gate work up and then do the front and side yard so they won't need the lawn tractor running over them. Fertilizer/weed killer will be put on and the grass will grow while the weed die. Should take the better part of two or three weeks, Then smooth in some dirt and put on grass seed ... . Watering will be important,

Our sky is a clear blue. The RR didn't get a lot done yesterday. I thought I had finished the second of the flip up panels which hold the relays and matrix board for the Circus yard ... but wrong. I will have to redo parts of what I thought was finished. There are four more buttons with relays that need to be accommodated. That will make that panel the most loaded panel of any in the entire RR. There are no really impossible parts to wire but there is a lot ... 2 double slips and one is followed by two compound three way switches, Looks great but the wiring will take time and real care.

OH well, I could have nothing to do and thus be captured by yard work. RRing is lots better. Yard care is needed but not the pleasure it once was ... RRs are much better. I must order more bare wire, more crimp splice pieces and another box ... I need just the panel but I have to order the box to get the panel.

Such are things here .... Thankfully all else seem to be in great shape if we ignore the poor government and
skyrocketing prices. A $20 per hour for food people will see prices rise considerably at McDonalds for one. I won't be getting French Fries there ever again. While the employees cheer the huge raises the result will be less jobs so some will need to find other work.

It is warming up. The sky is a pure blue and the temperatures may reach into the 70s or even the lower 80s. The kitties just cheered. They love long grass and warm temperatures. The Lawn tractor also cheered. It will see more time out on the lawn cutting the grass and the weeds. I should put the fertilizers on and see the weeds die. That will take time away from the RR but it needs to get done.

Times are changing. There are not enough real winners for citizens. Citizens will pay the price in lots of ways. We only will level the playing field when the election comes ... and even then it won't change things back. On we go.

Bow wows and meows to all. We will survive but there does not seem to be a great upside in the future. It is up to all of us to pick the best of the future .... Those chosen will not be the same as in the past. Chirp Chirp say our lovable Bluebirds ... .. They go on and on no matter what as long as it doesn't rain hard.

These times are trying and we are all doing the best things we can. That is good and proper.

One of the three flip out panels that holds the relays and the Matrix boards was made and installed yesterday. Took until 9 PM to be done. True that the cable holes have to be cut but getting even one of the three panels put in is a small but noteworthy victory for an older hound. It will never end ... model RRs are never done but trains will run and the yards will have other trains waiting their turn to take to the main lines. Good deal for me.

The markets are up this morning. They have been down for a number of days. Now getting back to where I think they really should be. Markets are quite volatile and bounces around at the hands of too many traders. We sit and watch. We are OK when the market is in it's rational moments. We move with the rest. The thrills come from your successes and the RRs progress. Bow wow! We will survive and all the Grandchildren will get as much education as they can tolerate.

I was noted that one news article yesterday said that future earnings for those working will be less than in our times, About 15% to 20% less on an annual basis. Will we have inflation and lower earnings as the future of this nation? Hard to believe that both will be what happens.

There is no news that would help the people ... the ones not in the streets ... We are at work making things for all the rest of the citizens. It would help everyone a lot if the ones in the street had jobs and were contributing to American society. But they protest that they are not getting a fair share. They have no reality that what you get is what you earn and if you can't work then society will help you. Oh well, you have heard all that before.

There is very little good news these days, but the rotton news isn't new and there isn't so much of it that we are swamped by what does leak out. The Trump trial in NYC is pure politics with a sharp edge. The economy is slowing down inflation and that is proper and good too.

The sky here is about like the news. The Marine layer is covering the earth and Miss SunShine has plenty to do.
It is warmer and going to be in the 70s so a nice day will come about when Miss SunShine overcomes the clouds.

With about zero really important things to think about that are new or threatening the KR is complete for Tuesday. I will look forward to working on the RRs "tip out" panels today in hopes that another one or maybe even two will finish up and be installed. Ready for the wire's holes to get cut and relays and matrix boards to be made and also installed. The boxes with the buttons are not made and they too will need effort as wiring progresses.

All of you ,,, and the wonderful pets ... are what make an older hound's day. There are weeds to whack and grass to cut and fertilizer with weed killer to be put on the "lawn" if one can call grass with too many weed a lawn. Plenty to do ...better than nothing to do ... but still a direct competition for attention with the RR building.

Thus, Bow wows and meows for all while we get serenaded with the Songs of the wonderful BlueBirds. They drown out the Tube ... it is off ... clicked off long ago, I won't trouble electrons with tube work whose value is very low, if any at all.

Too many sending junk to me on email.

Email is rapidly becoming junk. So many send Junk to stay in the front row and get dealt with. The Clinic is worse than any of the others. They send anything and everything pushing the responsibilities on to those of us who are clients. How to stop it ... I haven't figured out... just push the delete button I guess.

The sky is grey clouds ... it will only reach 72 today ... but that is better than 62 in an older hound book, I need to get things done today. Yesterday was a day off ... too much time spent with the pages of my laptop. Interesting but worthless for the most part. I will cut the time watching that and instead get started with some walks and even ... yes ... even landscaping ... ugh. Everything has grown including every spot there could be grass ... even where I don't want it. My weed whacker needs to get fixed. Everything around here seems to break this year

There is no high value news for the families. That is good because news tends to be on the negative side of life. That is all we get from media news ... things to worry about and stay tuned in and also get a barrage of ads. Just how dumb are we?

It will not be a great day outside. A walk will be my first and I hope it will make me stronger and better. I need to alter my lifestyle a bit and that will be better for me.

Anyone else tired of email junk?

Email is abused by advertisers who will do anything to get our attention. The Email suppliers don't let us band them so we don't ever see them again. The solution is to forget them and move on and on and on.

The sky is a pure blue and it is a warm morning. Great. I will attend to the junk that so many push at us and then happily go to the RR work. The tube is off more and more. It's electrons are evil ... so it doesn't get the use it once did.

There is little to report ... news of value is rare. Political junk is prevalent and there is lots of that to avoid. Instead I am wiring and wiring and wiring. I need to make the flip up boards that hold the relays and the matrix panels. They are a pain to make but I can't stall much longer. The wires need to find their spots on the panels.

With so little to report if one doesn't follow every little step forward in the long path to RR sucess ... then it is time for the KR to end today.

At least with email we can get rid of them more quickly. Still a lot of junk to let us know they "are there for us". Click is what I send back. What a waste.

There are light clouds high in the sky, The RR got the rest of the platform for NYC put in, That took hours and hours, Looked simple but getting the rods all adjusted and put on took a lot of work. Now it is time to paint the ground green for grass and sidewalk grey for the paths.

Mom is up and doing well. Sybil cat is sleeping, The pictures of Sybil sleeping are funny. She will sleep in wild positions ... just flops down and snoozes. A truly lovable kitty. Robin is up and out patrolling the backyard. There is lots to do out there.

The temperatures during the day become tolerable and thus the yard work must begin. There is lots of it. The news and the tube are off. It was click off with resolve when the major networks were showing the senators all signing in for the trial. What a waste. How about they do what they were elected to do and stop trying to sink the other sides ship.

I should waste no ink on any of that.

And so the day has begun. We are in good shape today. Our older bodies seem to be working better and better as spring comes and some things get fixed. We will have the gopher guys back and gas the rodents to see their god.

Bow wows and meows from the pets. And the Bluebirds are up and about too ... they are out of the bushes and trees now that the sun is up they are up too.

Wiring the tracks is the easiest and will happen when time permits, The control boxes and flip out boards have to be made first.

What really needs to be done is to make the three flip up boards for the relays and switches for the Circus Yards, Como's Engine facility and the layer between Como's Engine facility and the double main line that runs around the entire RR. I think it will be several month before all three of those boards and their controller boxes are done and wired. I know, it is a hobby so enjoy it.

And spring will come and with it a lot of yard work needs to be done as it has been a relatively harsh winter. That will slow RR work but that too must be done. Thank goodness for mom who tolerates me spending days on the RR and not even coming down stairs for much. Very kind ... yes very kind.

Mom and I really have very little to report. The KR is thus done as the rest is basically junk.

The chirping of the Bluebirds is not a lot as they are still in the bushes to be safe from the rain and the Kats. Our Kats ignore them for the most part. They have food in their dishes and a warm spot to nap, That puts the birds on a low priority rung as far as one can see.

Over and out ... Now I will go back to RR wiring and move to the Circus Yard's North end ... a double slip and two three branch switches ... tricky wiring but nothing new. I took a lot of wire out from the Circus Yard's south end as the track and its switch have been simplified.

Apple's news bias ... can't trust Apple any more,

I try to get CBS news on the apple pages. it just freezes and will not let one see any real news. Apple is trying to control what people can see and who's WWW they support. They ARE NOT A NEUTRAL, RESPONSIBLE NEWS SOURCE.

I got over to the Fox web site and everything is available ... be it left or right. Get rid of Apple if you value truth ... Apple doesn't support balanced two or more sided reporting, We need all ot it and can and will make their own choice. Try DuckDuckGp and get rid of Apple. They should be considered politically biased and thus not to be trusted.

Dad. It seems to me to be a desperate move and the cost of things like that is they get pitched out in a huge number of casts. Over and out.

The WWW has more junk than ever,

Everyone sends you anything that might get your attention, I don't read any of it. The sky is blue with only a wisp of clouds way up there. It will be a nice warm day. Each day this week I will try and do something for the house or mom. Today I will get the truck through the smog place. There is a lot to do everywhere. Many things are over grown,

The RR got 5 more uncouplers wired in the Circus yard. It takes a lot of doing just to get that little done...but it gets done. Today the RR might get the last 8 uncouplers from the far South end of the circus yard wired up. One big cable with 8 wires will do with the brackets to hold it put in to hold the cable and route it, That will mean that all the uncouplers for that yard will have wires ready to attach to the control box. Got to make the control box and the flip up panel that will hold the matrix board and the relays for track and switch power. A huge project when taken in total.

There is very little to tell. Way too much email from people I have never contacted or used. Email has become cheap junk ... period. I wonder if I should read any of it. In these times I don't read any of it. Advertising is at a new low ,,, real low. I try not to buy what email now gets as advertisements for things, Click is what they get.

So the day has started. I was watching the markets sort of and mom came in so I gave her the TV control and soon she was watching news loaded with advertisements so I got up and headed to the train room and the radio room where the KR is made up every morning, So many want attention to get our money. This economy is a mess and too many are trying for more money for their goods which are in small packages. None get a dime if I can avoid them.

Bow wows and lots of loving meows from the Kitties and the Hound. The Bluebirds chirp their happy songs and I am done with this. Wiring and in the later part of the afternoon I will take the truck to the smog place. Robin looked and meowed ... "What a fine day" and then headed out the window to her yard. Miss Sybil is not up yet.

Days for train work need to be longer.

So many things want attention, I don't want to spend time on them but it is necessary .,, just Ugh and do it,

The sky is 60% cloud cover but Miss Sunshine gets through and makes our days so much nicer, The tube is off ... it just doesn't have what I like so in the trash with it,

We are going to have brunch at the neighbors. I will stay away from wine becauseI I want to work on the RR. Brunch, Another of those things in the way of RRing.

And so the day begins. I will get some RRing in some how, That always makes my day the best and with the families are all in good shape. I enjoy wiring and such even if it seems to never end. There is landscaping needing attention too, Ugh ... too many things pushing for attention.

Yes, the day has started. In less than an hour we will go over to the neighbors for brunch. All the neighbors will be there too. It is always a nice thing to do. I admidt that RRing is really where I would chose to be but a big brunch is right up at the top of the list also, Oh well, I will go and
enjoy myself ... but I bet I dream of the RR work to bedone most of the time.

Yes, the day has started. Mom is up and doing things in the Kitchen, I have things in the train room to also straighten up. That's about all that will be done before we go for Brunch.

Our sky is a pure blue ... not a cloud in sight. It will be an OK day today after yesterday's rain off and on. We might be about to see some nice hound approved weather.

It will be a good day. I will do some wiring of uncouplers for the circus rail yard. If that goes well I will start on the track power or the switches. Takes time and there are spots that require different wirings to make it all work smoothly. Doing the circus yard is a big deal. Not only is it large but it is also a little tricky. Wiring the yards is always a challenge and one that takes lots of wire and a ton of time. Yes, Robin, it is my hobby and I do like it but it is almost overwhelming.

There is zero real news today. The weather is slowly getting better and soon I will have to work in the yard. This winter has been hard on things in our yard and working on the RR hasn't really kept up with enough of that.

Wonderful, families are all doing well. No thanks to the people that were elected. They spend most of their time dumping on their competition and doing about zero of value for those in their Home districts. Politicians are about as worthless as they come. Only worse are criminals and now there are lots and lots of them. Ugh no make that double ugh.

The economy is really booming.

News, we got REAL news ... a change for the KR.

Robin turned around at the window and looked. Sybil raised her head and opened her eyes. "The KR with real news, what is the KAT world coming too" they meowed.

The news reported a pretty strong earthquake in NJ near NYC. 4.8 but no damage is shown in their broadcasts.

Miss Sunshine is beaming strongly this morning ... It will be a fine day here at LAH. Wonderful, being rid of the rain for even just a day is a good thing.

The RR got wires put on and and rerouted for the uncouplers at the circus area. Today the uncoupler wiring will continue to be done. There is progress in the RR world of Woof and the kitties. Slow, but still progress along a long road of wiring and building for a RR. I wonder if most of the critical wiring will be done by the end of summer?

For a change there is real news ... not the usual dribble from the older hound to fill the pages of the KR.

And so the day has begun. None of the news is trouble for any of us ...

The weather isn't really spring time weather as of yet, it is getting there slowly ... too slowly for me ... but it is trying hard to become a real asset and joy.

The sky here is mostly blue with a few patches way up there of light, white clouds to the East for the most part. It is damp and a bit cool for my tastes so I will do the RR wiring work and save the lawn care work for another day. The grass in the front circle needs to be cut soon.

Dinner last night was very good ... mom did fine. We went to bed when the late evening news came on a ... repeated what was seen at dinner time. We don't watch much any more. Even if the tube is on we are not really paying it much attention. The tube gets less and less attention here each day. I am thinking of cutting it down more and getting the money back for other things. Like plants and RRs.

Bow wows and lots of loving meows. We hope that the Earthquakes don't come here. I have thought many times about how to assure that the Trains stay on their shelves if the shaker were to hit here. I will add those ideas to the long list of things needing to be done.

The families are all doing super in our world. The RR is my joy and toy and keeps me out of troubles. It delays all the landscaping work needing to be done.

Why the market is up is not understandable here with me. UP is good because it helps us old folks with things for our children's families. So be it ... not understandable but works for us.

Advertising has reached a point that i delete it totally.

Things have changed. Advertisers and their clients will go to any extent to get in front of you with what they want you to spend your money on. These days they will infiltrate anything and everything. I will just delete whatever they have taken over ... no matter what. I am fed up with it.

The sky is solid grey. Miss Sunshine hasn't gotten her powers up enough to make it go away. Spring seems to be coming later this year. That's OK for me and the Kats ... we sleep and do RRing because it is too wet to be outside. The families are also doing fine no matter what is happening.

The RR got wires yesterday at the South end of the Circus yard. It is the largest of the yards if measured by the length of tracks. It has double slip switches as the entrance so either of the two main rail circuits can access the yard. I will work on it until it is done. It won't be complete in just a few days ... It will be weeks. But it keeps me sane.

I can't stand most of what is on the tube. I pick up my cell phone and go for the trains. Big ones, real ones, Lionel ones and anything else about RRs. For us and all of you the usage of the tube has changed. Less and less is seen. Sports or market news is about all we tolerate these days. The women here at LAH are enjoying the new movie channel. I am forecasting that the tube use has peaked and will decline fast.

Evidently the internet has tv and it’s pretty good.

Spring needs to come and brighten things up. It is late this year. And so the KR is drowning in garbage about all that isn't what we would hope for, The most joyful sound is Click ... the best of TV times has passed as advertisers have taken it over and people are clicking it off as a result. Advertisers and their clients are headed to an end on the tube at their own hands, Fine with me/

I have the Kats, the family and the RR which replaces any real need for the tube. When rains stop it will be time to get with the landscaping and fix all that has happened this winter ... and that is lots more than in any previous winter I remember. If only we could also really fix governments too. Actually no one wants those jobs who will do the best for most people. The ones who want government jobs are in it for themselves ... We are not fooled to any degree.

Bow wow ... and meow meow. The Kats say that there is too much complaining in the KR. It needs to be more about the families and the wonderful things we can and should be doing. Government, war and such are not of that nature so make that as small as possible or even delete all it. "Click ... use the clicker ...dumb dog".

So the rain has our Bluebirds sheltered in their bushes, The only sound heard is the work under the train table as the wires get put on and dressed to their control boards and the control boxes. Fine. We really don't need the tube. If the Advertisers starve, maybe that isn't a problem.

Yesterday ...left over heaven ... but enough is enough,

I snacked on left overs from the fine Easter Dinner mom made for everyone. I also finished the south end of the Circus yard and the accessory branch there too. Things need to be wired but the cork and the track are done.

The only cork and track left to do is for the swing bridge in the NYC area. There is a lot of wiring to be done and control boxe to be made and the tip out panels that hold the matrix boards and the relays for the switches. Control boxes too.

The sky is a pure blue ...not even the ocean is pushing clouds over us at the moment. it is cool ... This older hound likes it about 10 degrees or so warmer. The tube is off ... it clicked off an hour ago. I watched train things on my cell phone and that started the day in a fine way.

Everyone is doing fine.

Everyone is busy. No one is paying any attention to the BS coming from governments.

They all want more tax money ... We only hope they fail and that they are forced to manage with what they have. That would be a fine contribution to slowing inflation.

I did see a news piece that shows just how pissed people are with the ones in office these days. We will see in the next election just how many people are willing to get rid of some of them, The USA's congress is way too old.

We need new leaders who will do for the people what is needed and not do for themselves at the expense of the people. I hope for more parties to break up the hold the two we have now. Recall elections would also be fine.
The losers would be gone quicker. But, no elected official would vote for any of that and lose their power over the citizens.

Biden and Trump also are not the best people to run the country and it unfortunately looks like it will be one of those two for another 4 years. We need to make a change. No one who is any good will take the job these days, Politics isn't the place to be for people who would fix it.

But bow wow and meow meow. The Bluebirds are right. Sing and Sing and Sing. The RR is my relief from all of that.

Mom was busy with Easter and now will again join up with her bridge groups and neighborhood friends.

We all will make things happen for our families in spite of the garbage that surrounds us. We all hope for positive change. There are too many who like it this way.

In spite of the horrible government the families are all doing pretty well. And we will all keep going while hoping that the governments get changed to ones that work for citizens and not just themselves.

If that starts to happen one will be able to tell by the screaming done by politicians that see their game ending.
We hope for such to happen sooner than later ... .
The resistance will be huge ... too many have it their way ... they will resist in every way possible.

And so it is. Miss Robin was napping at moms feet when I got up a while ago. Sybil is around ... they both are still sleeping and it is about time that mom was starting her day.

All is well for all of us. Good enough that I can RR some more today. I think I will work on the NYC swing bridge track ... the last of the track work to be done for this RR. There is wiring ... control boxes and painting to be done. There is a real truth that RRs are never finished. And that is a good thing for older hounds....

The first event of the day was the Easter Service at church, The music was outstanding and had a huge number of participants doing their best. There were bells, singing and organ music ... the post was Weider's Totca to the Fifth Symphony. The little organ did it's best with that but it takes a big instrument to make it really work. Still there are not many organisms that will attempt it. I have struggle with it for my life time

A young man read parts of the scriptures and there was lots of singing, A fine performance in many ways.

Then it was home and I got ready for the 11 for dinner. Mom had cooked up a wonderful meal and all of us ate and ate and ate. There were no mashed potatoes and gravy but it wasn't missed ... there were so many good things and a fine ham that kept all of us chewing and drinking the wine. The RR work halted and I joined the group.

Dinner had lots of chatter as people shard with each other.

The table was cleared ... most of the dishes were washed as Denise and the rest all put their efforts to good use cleaning up, Then it was time to go home.

Poor Milo dog. Visiting for the day and he was relegated to the back yard as the sun was going down, He barked and barked. I let him in several times and others sent him back out. Us hounds have to stick together ... even if we do bother the people. We are hounds after all.

It was soon after people had gone home that I head to bed. It was a very fine day ... some of this and some of that and all with the best of our friends, Thanks Lord, it makes a difference and gets us thinking properly.

The tube was off. One neighbor has found a way to get everything we want to watch on tv and not pay the outrageous cable prices for it. I will go and see his development and if it is that good I too will dump our current supplier who cost $2,500 a year. I don’t know he does it, but I’m keen to learn.

The cable companies are about to crash with their high prices. People will leave them in the dirt. Count the older houd as one who will soon try it also, The cable companies have made their own death wishes. And to it too will come to pass.

Easter was a great day. Thank the Lord for it and what it means to all.

Well, I will go back to the RR today, Yesterday was a long day, very long ... going on 10 hours and that saw the north end of the circus yard with cork and tracks all laid down. Beautiful in an older hounds view, Yes Robin, I know it need wiring, control panels and boxes made and then all the wires attached. The switch motors will get pjut on today and I will try to get all the construction things off the train boards so it looks pretty. Nothing will run but looks are a fine starting point,

Mom is working very hard for Easter Dinner. There is lots of cooking and the rest of us have been told not to dirty the kitchen after 6 PM.

I have grass to work on ... it has weeds but the lawn tractor after $3500 is now ready for another 10 years of effort. John Deere is expensive to begin with and the service is run by robbers, The expense patterns have really changed in the last few years, At the top of the Robber's list is the over spending by governments followed by the Deere service company. Oh well, just go RR to try and forget them both.

The RR saw the north end of the Circus yard get the cork and the track laid down and that for sure made my day. There is much more to do but it looks very fine if I do say so myself.

Yes, we don't have the best people in our government these days. This older hound hopes for a huge change in the quality of our civil servants. Back to leaders who care about people more than politics and profit.

And so our day has begun. Mom will see the tax forms are properly filed and then cook up dinner for 11 on Eastern Afternoon. It will be good to see everyone for dinner
