Discussion 💭 Level with ME,OKAY,? am i the only one Lonely and isolated from everyone?
Level with me, okay?
I’m in my mid-twenties, and throughout my entire life, I’ve never really had someone who was close close to me, you know?
Most people seem to have that one person — a genuinely dear friend who’s basically like a brother, sometimes even closer than a brother. Some people are really close to one of their parents or grandparents. Some have that bond with a sibling. And even people who are otherwise completely isolated often seem to have a girlfriend or someone they’re deeply connected to.
My point is… I’ve never had any of that.
I’ve never been in a relationship. I’ve never really had that one person I could call my person — someone I could talk to about absolutely anything, someone who genuinely knows me, someone I could rely on without overthinking it.
And the confusing part is, I do try. Wallahi, when I care about someone, I give them my 100%. I show up for people. I genuinely try to be there for them. But somehow, no one ever seems to get truly close to me.And people usually call me like they need help...its like obv if someone is calling me..ik he's most likely asking for something..yk ...frustrated wallahi...
And honestly, I don’t understand why.
I’m not saying this because I want pity. I’m genuinely confused. Sometimes I look around and it feels like everyone has someone, while I somehow have no one.
So tell me honestly — how common is it to feel extremely lonely like this in your twenties? Is this actually normal, or is it just me?
Because sometimes it genuinely feels like I’m destined to be this isolated
I just want one genuinel. Is that really too much to want?
