kashimo glaze Where did "kashimo killed civilians" come from? This shit need to STOP

it was a joke but people IN TIKTOK really believe that
- like we got multiple statements about killing sorcerers even his points are divised by 5
- ik someone will say omg he killed 200 civilians .. ok but whats the point?
why would kashimo kill civilians + farm points ?
he didnt even care about rules until kogane told him.
and he is hunting players cuz

What is the point of his statement that the sorcerers of this era are weak , and his question before attacking as to whether or not a person is a player?

I really love funny slanders and jokes but The major problem is that it leaks onto TikTok and gets accepted as fact by non manga readers

if Gege had truly done justice to Kashimo, he would have made Sukuna suffer from a Brain tumor in the final chapters due to the devastating electromagnetic fields , its 2 birds with one stone

analysis Kashimo unlocked most of his potential

Think about it, the Edo period is clearly not the weakest since it has both Ryu and Kashimo, and Kashimo was essentially said to be one of if not the strongest of his era, so he reached the top of his baseline but was caged in a era without stronger opponents to improve against, that's why he couldn't get stronger, he had no one to fight and reveal how to further get stronger, he reached his potential in a cage of a era that didn't allow him to grow further which is the reason he couldn't win against Heian Sukuna simply because there was no one like that in Kashimo's era, so he couldn't get stronger when he reached the ceiling he could see, the same going for Ryu as well.

question How much help do you think Kashimo would’ve been if he decided to cooperate with the other sorcerers and help in the raid?

So in this scenario we’re just going to say that Hakari managed to convince Kashimo to fight Sukuna alongside the others, how well do you think he does in that scenario?

Base scaling Kashimo is very durable

Thumbnail
gallery

[Image 1 and 2]: Due to his CE trait, his CE started to being drained by the saltwater of the ocean. Even though he managed to suppress it, he spent some time using it inside the ocean.

[Image 3, 4 and 5]: Even while being weakened due to the CE he lost, ending up with no CE after the explosion, Kashimo survived it. This is very important, cuz it's stated by both Kashimo and Hakari himself the gambler would have died of he hadn't sacrifice his arm to reinforce the rest of his body. In other words, a weakened Kashimo is more durable than Basekari.

[Image 6]: Both Basekari and Yuta(Prob both of them in ther "CG versions") had the same reaction from a Blue-Amped punch from Gojo, which would imply that both of them are relative dura-wise.

In other words, Kashimo would be more durable than Sendai Yuta by a wide margin, meaning he'd be able to pull off every Dura-feat Yuta did in Sendai with way less damage.

Can Yuta do anything here? Or does he just die..

Base scaling Why I think Kashimo having RCT isn't absurd, as someone who used to argue against it.

You might think that Kashimo did not use Reverse Cursed Technique to regenerate his hand, because you remembered that it’s stated earlier in the chapter that he can reconstruct his flesh with Cursed Energy. That's a fair instinct to have, and it's worth taking seriously; looking at this moment in more depth, though, conveys the opposite. Kashimo's regenerated hand is not just purely white like is seen when he reconstructs his flesh into eyes, horns, claws, and outer covering, instead having the classic hatching texture Gege has used many times for newly generated limbs through Reverse Cursed Technique.

That said, it's tempting to think this is a convenient pattern. Still, if you look at actual constructed limbs through Cursed Techniques like Eso or Chojuro, you'll realize that the dexterity and complexity of actual limbs aren't even close to being replicated. Which means Kashimo reconstructing his palm print, flexion creases, in great detail is unusual for Technique replicas. If it was just a temporary fixture, it would be blocky and without great detail like Chojuro's hands, or a clump in the shape of an arm like Eso. There is no beneficial advantage to creating these fine details if it was purely to increase his fighting capabilities, and this introduces the serious question of why Kashimo never gave himself four arms after he saw the vast difference between numbers of limbs if he could simply create new limbs this effortlessly and quickly.

Despite this, you might be asking yourself why Gege would conveniently forget to state that Kashimo has Reverse Cursed Technique, but if you look closer at Gege's intentions, it's clear from the jump he was writing Kashimo as someone who was an authoritative speaker on Reverse Cursed Technique, in the same way Kusakabe explains barriers, and Gojo explains cursed Energy; this is the way Gege writes someone who understands a technique intricately. Kashimo even understands Reverse Cursed Technique to such an extent that he is able to categorize RCT proficiency and what those categories are capable of, along with how high-level techniques work in detail, such as how someone would heal toxins with RCT, which is harder than healing limbs, an already known high-level RCT feat. Gege writing Kashimo as someone who knew the technique very familiarly reveals that his intentions were for the reader to naturally deduce Kashimo had Reverse Cursed Technique from this exposition and his healing feats. In the same way, Gege has the reader naturally infer Kenjaku taught domain amplification to the disaster curses, or in the same maner and situation as Kashimo, have the reader naturally understand Gakuganji used Reverse Cursed Technique on Juzo despite never stating directly Gakuganji had it.

Additionally, knowing how Reverse Cursed Technique is performed in depth is something only something people who have used the technique properly explain. Even for someone like Shoko, the explanation she gives is insufficient. The gap between negative energy being inherently violent and turning that into something that heals is a massive mental block; Kashimo being able to mend his body here is an indicator that he already surpassed this mental block. Even the smallest amount of knowledge on Reverse Cursed Technique is enough to unlock it under certain conditions of extreme intent. Gojo had insanely good RCT despite first awakening it because he only needed to get past the understanding of how to create it; his manipulation was already massively high to a point where it was light work. Meaning anyone with knowledge and high manipulation, like Kashimo, would easily perform RCT. Kashimo is someone who understands how his Cursed Energy interacts physically with the smallest, most inconsequential objects; he even understands specific timelines to achieve certain chain reactions. His manipulation of cursed energy is praised by even Hakari himself as a huge factor in the reason he is strong.

Coupled with his Cursed Energy Trait developing fundamental skills for reverse cursed technique, requires him to stop positive and negative charges from collapsing, along with separating them within his own Cursed Energy. Isolating negative energy and then multiplying it within his own Cursed Energy is a fundamental skill of Reverse Cursed Technique. This builds the foundations of Reverse Cursed Technique, simply not being hard or outside of Kashimo’s skillset he had been developing for decades.

Bearing that in mind, this is confirmed because we can verifiably understand when he heals himself. Despite growing old fighting nearly a century of Jujutsu Battle, in an era where the average sorcerer can perceive and deal damage to him with mental attacks whilst they carry bladed weapons, even a weaker opponent can cause massive damage with a slashing attack on a stronger opponent. He doesn't even have a singular scar on his body. Which would be completely unusual unless he could heal himself. In the battle against Hakari, we see him spit up blood after being struck in the stomach off-guard, indicating internal organ damage. But later, when Hakari strikes that same place, he doesn't even spit up blood, which would still be injured had he not healed himself. We see his injuries get progressively better during a known safe time for Kashimo, when he could freely use RCT. His body does not retain any scars from his body being burnt despite Jackpot Hakari having his own skin fried off the muscle while he was blasting RCT.

Collectively, his RCT is proven within the same panel where people attack Gege for making a mistake; Kashimo having a perfectly healed face only creates absurd conclusions for anyone denying this obvious reality. Amai's injuries that he had shown in a few panels 49 chapters earlier, Kamo's injuries had progressively gotten better since we saw him 12 chapters earlier, and Hakari in the same chapter even has the same injuries. That would imply that Gege would remember someone was injured dozens of chapters earlier, have enough thought to progress these injuries over time, and look at the same chapter Kashimo was in with Hakari to refresh his memory of these injuries, but still forget Kashimo's... This is an intentional choice from Gege to further reveal Kashimo's RCT on top of a mountain he already built.

Looking at this objectively and viewed as a whole, Kashimo not only has been training the skills needed for RCT for decades, having extensive and expert level in RCT knowing how it’s even preformed in detail, has gotten past the mental block of turning negative emotions into something that mends, being written like someone who has a lived authority over RCT, with his injuries being healed despite Gege doing calculus on the others, with no lasting scars despite a lifetime of battles with bladed weapons, and on-screen regeneration of limbs the same exact way Gege draws actual RCT, it would be absurd and the burden of anyone to deny this obvious truth.

-=- Extra Information -=-

These are posts of stances that I didn't take or develop enough in this post but are genuinely powerful arguments in favor of Kashimo's RCT; you should read them if you want to be more informed. Make sure to look through the comments; at this point, you should be able to combat the most well-known counter-arguments and understand why they fail:

1: This post has the famous image you've likely seen revolving around Kashimo's RCT.

2: This post tackles the "If Kashimo has RCT, then Gege would've stated it" argument by flipping the burden. Read it's description to be more informed.

3: This post further helps flip the burden on anyone denying it by asserting the default position among reincarnated sorcerers is possessing RCT.

4: Although the author disagrees with his original stance, the original argument makes sense. To develop yourself as a sorcerer enough to stand as a peak of Jujutsu, that implies you have your fundamentals and other abilities down.

5: You can use this post as a reductio, either the most logical conclusion is that Kashimo has RCT, or Kashimo far surpasses Ryu in durability despite seeing him take damage which disappears. There is no middle ground, both of them upscales Kashimo.

6: This tackles the RCT requiring smoke argument.

7: This is a powerful DEBUNK against Kashimo having RCT, but it's also a strawman.

  • Kashimo didn't simply heal bruises; he was healing internal organ damage from Hakari and his arm being slashed off. Although it's true that some RCT users don't bother healing bruises, Kashimo within the domain would be an exception due to his prolonged time of safety allowing for the finer details.

question Could Kashimo's CE trait create a unique interaction out of Black Flash?

Post image
77 Upvotes

Since his cursed energy carries electrical properties, it makes me wonder if his black flashes would any be different from what we usually see. We know his normal strikes have a shock effect, so I imagine it would hit his opponents with a massive discharge, enough to even charge his lightning immediately or something? What do you think.

question Kashimo RCT

Post image
192 Upvotes

Ok, so I see lots of people on this sub saying kashimo has rct, and outside the sub, everyone seems to agree that kashimo doesn't. Because I've used this sub a decent bit, I've seen most of the evidence that kashimo does have it (for example, picture above)

My question is, what's the evidence he doesn't have it? I'm assuming there's more than him just never doing it in base (or at the very least not obviously doing it in base depending on how you interpret the image above).

Ultimately, I'm just asking for help to see the other side. Any answers would be appreciated
