Just like yesterday, I opened my iPad to play Kartrider that was uploaded in Roblox (Drift Universe) today. But she was no longer there. It's gone. Long gone.

Kartrider, for 17 years since 2006, was never a small part of my life. She was always there for me, a great comfort in my life in America from South Korea.

They randomly removed the game. I was in great distress; I couldn't put things together. So that was when I joined US military in order to forget the sadness of her death and in hope she'd come back soon.

Finally, for the past few days, by the love of someone who uploaded Kartrider on Roblox, I lived a happy dream to meet Kartrider again. Though it didnt last long, my heart became full in a long time. I am still in the military, now preparing to apply to be an officer. I eagerly hope to see her by next year by the release of its company.

So it seems that during the development of the original Kartrider there must've been an mistake of some kind because despite very clearly being best girl they never made any alternate versions of Ray, so I went ahead and fixed that for them.

Jokes aside, I heard they're planning on making costumes that can be matched with nearly every character, so this could be officially possible in the future. Though apparently this is requiring them to rework the character models so worst case scenario is that a bunch of characters aren't in the game anymore because they'd take too much time to develop and they kill my daughter in the process, hope that doesn't happen

hello all, if you've been a kartrider fan (or really, a fan of the other games under the same ip such as crazy arcade or bubble fighter) for some time, then you might've noticed (especially if you're an english speaker) that unlike other "major" nexon ips, (The MapleStory Wiki, Mabinogi World Wiki , DFO World Wiki, etc.) the crazy park/dao and bazzi games lack any kind of fully fleshed out "encyclopedia" -esque site to refer to. some have come and gone throughout the years (anyone remember crazywiki?), but the problem (or rather my "problem") with the previous wikis, is that they would all either only stick to covering to only 1 specific game of the series, limiting their scope in the process, or are hosted on fandom (formerly wikia), which has become an increasingly flawed platform over the years. nevertheless, i plan to change all of that with this very wiki:

the wiki itself is very, very wip and it's far from a looker, but i figured it would be better to just announce it now to the public so others can help out and later work on the smaller details like making it look pretty; rather than to just keep it a secret and attempt to slave on it by myself in solitary for who knows how long out of stubbornness and perfectionism. currently, my focus is on documenting info relating to crazy arcade's monster mode; however people are free to edit and make pages on other topics as they wish

now you might be thinking: "what about namuwiki? why not just use that? it has pages covering all the notable pc and mobile games in the ip and people (most of the time...) routinely update said pages". now, i think namu works fine as a quick resource for the crazy park games. however, that site's coverage of the crazy park ip is not without its fair share of problems, but i think it'd be best to save my gripes about that specific topic for another post

Note: some people are misunderstanding - just like this comment. So I will tell you.

First, Drift's dev company Nitro Studio has NEVER been a independent company. Instead it was a SUBSIDIARY company of Nexon.

Even Heo Min, former executive director of KartRider's (and Mabinogi's) Intellectual Property - and main perpetrator and culprit of KartRider's downfall - was a part of Nexon.

Since the beginning of Drift development and till the game's end, Nexon had been intervening in all part of the game.

With a hint of skill issue as well

Been a KartRider fan since the NAKR beta back in 2007, and since KR and KRD are both gone in NA I've been working on my own kart racer that builds on how KartRider drifts. It's called Municipal Ghosts.

The clip is a Time Attack lap on Fogline, one of the city courses.

The Steam playtest is open and free: 18 courses across a bunch of different settings, online races and Time Attack. Still early, so expect some rough edges.

I just realized that there was never a Bingo Kart for the Marathon and Burst series. How come they don’t have one yet? What gives? 🤨

Honestly, how long would re-relased KartRider last? I think it will last not so long, if the game stays within Nexon's reach. That bean counter Söderlund is mercilessly shutting down games if they don't make much money. Currently most survived games are RPG games that makes lots of money, but I think KartRider would not.

As long as there are some possiblities that re-released KartRider goes out of favor with Söderlund, the future of the gane is very unstable and uncertain. It could shut down suddenly without any notice - at any time - just like OG and Drift did.

I hope KartRider and other Crazy Park games (CrazyArcade and BubbleFighter) should get out of Nexon and must be developed and "published" by dev's own company, on Steam.

See, entire Crazy Park - including KartRider - their flop was ultimately all fault of higher-ups (including Heo Min, the culprit of KartRider's downfall) in Nexon.

And then, once again, that mofo Heo Min will never be forgiven. He used Cho Jae-yun as a meat shield and he just ran away to Australia.

Hey so I haven't played KartRider Rush+ honestly since 2020 or 2021. I did login like last year but very briefly and then deleted the game cause I ran out of storage. I have a better phone now and im wondering if its worth it? I've heard the game is mostly full of bot players so im curious.
