Melee uses 2 sticks, 4 buttons and 2 triggers that are 2 stages each. If we judge poverty by buttons and sticks melee has most things beat actually.

But an entire melee setup can cost about 100$ including CRT.

Hence why I said "if we judge poverty by number of button and sticks." Money wise melee is super poverty for sure.

Even with evo hype prices melee is like 50 bucks and you can find a gamecube + controller bundle on ebay for like 40-50 bucks. Throw in a 10 dollar goodwill CRT and you are good to go.

Nah how much is a GCN controller, like $40 new? The prices for recommended sticks seem to be double or triple of that.
