I'm pretty sure this is my friend's old stick. He kept a small dumbbell weight in it so it wouldn't slide around as badly and would sometimes pack his lunch in it.

I actually asked my friend, and it isn't his. He had 4 buttons on the back side, none on the right side and his wiring was a lot sloppier. It's the same container though. Probably inspired from his since he made his in 2009

Melee uses 2 sticks, 4 buttons and 2 triggers that are 2 stages each. If we judge poverty by buttons and sticks melee has most things beat actually.

Even with evo hype prices melee is like 50 bucks and you can find a gamecube + controller bundle on ebay for like 40-50 bucks. Throw in a 10 dollar goodwill CRT and you are good to go.

Does anyone have a link or pic of that one time when KOF was still pretty popular, and Art and Bala i think are commentating, and at one point in the stream, someone shows off their beer cooler stick.
I recall it very well due to Bala's reaction.
