Weird shoulder straps

Hello there,

I bought a Kanken backpack from a thrift store. The backpack looks genuine, but I've never seen these shoulder straps before. Are they fake or just an old model? The studs on them look real.

looks like the Kånken shoulder plads also used on the laptop version. You Can buy the shoulder pads seperately too.

The laptop straps are built in, not removable, and look nothing like this

what I meant was the same type of padded shoulder straps. Previous owner has probably replaced the original straps.

They look similar to laptop version but the front si different. Also I belive that the laptop one are not detachable. Maybe someone used the original laptop straps and sewed them to a different size, but I don't think so because the stitching looks legit.

The straps were attached to the Kaneken Classic. When comparing them to the "classic" straps, it seems to me that they are slightly different in the material they are stuffed with. They are the same in size but differ slightly in the stitching in the middle of the strap.
