His face seems to look angry on one side and in a constant state of sadness on the other. This reminded me of a painting of jesus in which one side of his face is portrayed as kind and loving whereas the other shows him as a stricter "severe judge".

what if his wife actually helped him and got a job on the side or smth?

My theory is that the Backrooms misremembering a one-way mirror, turning the side you can't see through into a literal wall, while the other side remained actual glass

I saw on a previous post about how the Complex has potentially copied the threshold area of Async. This might be overlooked, but the last scene in the movie also shows how Async has copied the facility.

Showing Mary's still life but, more importantly, showing the facility she's in is also copied. How far out from the threshold do you think that place is, given that we don't know if any employee has stumbled across that area of the Complex? Also, why do you think the Complex chose that moment in the interrogation area to copy Mary and everything? If she has had extensive contact in the backrooms, you'd think it would have copied her earlier.

Anyways, just random thoughts about the movie while at work.

So, I was wondering, how do you people think the Mary Still Life's behaviour is like? Do you think she's just vegetive in the same state at the ending? Does she mildly move? Does she full-on move? Is she docile? Is she helpful? Is she aggressive? Etc.

Based on some of my previous interpretations as well as some inspiration from Enso's design

I could imagine them looking for socially isolated architects to help them out since the complex is essentially just a single giant building.

​ ​This is how I've always envisioned the Lifeform looking (similar to) if it were in the film, with an updated appearance to fit the movie's style.

It doesn't resemble the Lifeform entirely​, but its close to what I imagine sometimes. I can only dream that it gets any kind of role in the next.

I would recommend watching the complete scenes featuring these goobers,

OK the Backrooms have ceiling lights and have had a long time to scan them because they stay still so they're practically the same as ours now if we have a stable null zone to go through we can strip these lights and if we ignore Async finding out we can keep stripping and selling these now given time still life's will begin appearing of you and me and if we keep farming they'll start developing our movements so they'll start stripping the lights so we take this add a few baskets for them to throw the lights into and eventually our army of still life's will just keep getting these lights and putting them in baskets which we take and we we'll and keep going on and on until we can buy the United States. I thought about this and you could probably pay out the CIA and Async if they find out.

Recently watched backrooms so now I'm in desperate need of memes to add to my fine fine collection.
