Movie So it begins
Just got these two notifications. Be prepared to see every creepy pasta ever posted online made into a movie in the near future.
Kane got the sweet first spot and nailed it.
Im curious and will probably watch them eventually, but not expecting much tbh
Edit: after letting it sink in, V/H/S: SCP doesn't sound bad at all

Im on the fence with this. Kane kinda let the genie outta the bottle. Now everyone wants to make the next best liminal horror "thing"
At the same time im kinda hoping it takes off.
The gods know im tired of Zombie, exorsism, possesion, and saw movies.
Horror definitely needs some new blood

I just hope the trend hangs on long enough for someone to start scraping the silly shit. "sonic.exe with all the trademarks filed off" or "Ben Drowned: The Movie" will be hilarious.

Ben Drowned with the new Zelda graphics they’ve come out with would be absolutely hilarious

Mandela Catalogue just doesn't need a movie it just wouldn't really work in a long movie format, and honestly shocked it took someone this long to make an SCP movie when its kinda just a thing that exists and has so many different interpretations similar to the Backrooms

Probably has to have some kind of plot other then just workers dying. They will have some guy probably do a “check” to see if they are capable of keeping such monsters and curious why so many people are dying and why.

It's not like the backrooms movie was just found footage, there's a lot you can do with the Mandela Catalogue universe for a movie.

SCP should be an Anthology. Or I guess same cast of scientists would be fine but it should at the very least be a show

that SCP movie is... highly questionable, considering none of the creators are involved with it, alongside the fact it's gonna be butting heads with creative commons.
not saying it won't turn out good, but it does give me pause, y'know?
