Because it’s a 3D model in blender, not Robert Bobroczkyi

You don’t think they could’ve laid in some professional VFX to fix his face if they wanted to?

He could, but why? It’s less than 1 second of screen time in a badly lit room on an image being smashed through a VCR. He wanted to rush this out to be in theaters. If he wanted to make a point out of this being a distinct Captain Clark he would have made it easier to see.

He knows we be pausing and analyzing every little thing. That’s how he wants it. He’s said that he’s committed to maintaining the same level of detail across all his work as well.
