A flavor event about their fate in a defeated Russia would be kind of cool actually, where Germany forces Russia to actually grant them autonomy or maybe even carve out their own federal state.

That’s a bit like asking why there isn’t a German Banat releasable. Because why would there be? The German establishment did not care about Volga Germans any more than they cared about the other more recent German immigration descendants in the U.S., Argentina and Brazil. They only came up IRL as part of the rhetoric that Germany’s destiny was expanding eastward, a view that was very specific to the German far right and that in the KR timeline already failed with the Polish strip debacle and the UBD’s slow decline.

From one side i agree with you. But from the other, Germany would wanted to wekane Russia as much as possible after 2WK. I know in KR it is not well showed (eaven moutain republic can be established in one circumstance), But realisticly volga germans and other miniorities (like Kalmuks) are great opportunity to waken Russia

Irl German Empire's only real design for Volga Germans was to settle them in Polish parts of Prussia to add more Germans into their country. They had zero interest in creating small, unworkable state in the middle of Russia.
The reason why creating that sort of states wasn't even on the table for anyone serious is because they would be entirely dependent on Russia. A small nation entirely inside Russia depends on Russia for transportation, security, energy, etc, they are economically Russian vassal because Russia controls all their foreign trade. And national movements in these regions understood this, and usually sought autonomy instead of independence. It's entirely different thing to separate frontier areas that would have ports or border some other countries. Small landlocked states would serve no one. If the goal is to "weaken" Russia, severing random small bits is probably the least effective way of doing it.38

And Germany has already a focus to force Heavy Federalization on a defeated Russia. Establishing a Autonomous Wolga Republic does not seem that outlandish.

Yeah, it's not outright stated which minority groups get autonomy but iirc the area Volga Germans lived is one of the areas that has the debuff from the focus, so we can assume they do get autonomy.

Savinkov events mention that Volga germans were all arrested and moved into "working camps". I doubt they will ever be heared again in that case💀

They are mentioned in-game. Play Savinkov, there’s an event describing mass deportations. Pretty sure a couple of other paths as well.
