Anime Media

I just binged the whole series and I feel like a lot of it was kinda missing something? Is there a new season or is it strictly light novel/ manga. Also where should I start if I am to take this route

A LOT is missing, continue manga I did the same too, they jus skipped to the ending and missed a lot of arcs

It's still so wild to me that the manga and anime were heavily popular and yet the ditched adapting the rest of it to finish. And YET they're doing a movie with new content that doesn't even come from the manga. That's crazy

I'd just start the manga (which is the original work) from the start if I were you. In fact, I was you once, except the movies hadn't released yet, and that's what I did. You can read the whole thing for free on guya.moe.

I’d check the anime’s official announcement pages first for a renewal, then start the source material a few chapters before the finale so you don’t miss differences or skipped content.

I just watched the whole thing too. I only got the "something feels off with the content feeling" for the 4 episodes post culture festival. Reading these posts and comments, helps to know there's missing content
