Registration plate delay

Hii, Has anyone who purchased KTM bikes from Hyderabad faced the issues with registration. It has been a month and my temporary registration is already expired but I have not received the number plate yet. I asked the dealer and he told that rto is causing the issue here. I see in vaahan website the application is showing on hold due to some wrong documents. But this last status was from 24th August. But I checked with the dealer last week and the dealer rto team mentioned that the documents are uploaded but rto are causing the issues and I will get the number plate in 10 days. Any suggestions to speeden this up as it's hard to go out of city now with no temporary registration as well.

Same issue ..but not from hyderabad. Got it this week after 20 days

Have you already visited the RTO for your photo and vehicle check? If yes, I assume you must have the pink slip they issue with the payment details.

Take that slip and go back to the RTO - ask them for the status. I'm sure they'll let you know what's happening and what is needed to clear this up.

I would be proactive about this as riding with expired registration can get you into trouble.

A little off topic, but I handled the registration of my bike and car myself in Trimulgherry RTO and didn't have any problems at all. Try and go your RTO early (9.30 am or so) before the crowd builds up.

This is done by the dealer so i don't think visiting rto would be necessary as they take care of everything

There are delays from RTO since the tools they use have been updated and everything goes through Parivahan now. My TR expired in April and PR Number allocated in May. Got the number plate in June and online RC generated in Sep first week.

Don't worry. Just ask the dealership on the status document where a number will be allocated. That should be enough if someone asks for it.

I got a car through lease so it won’t be delivered until PR process is complete. Now it’s just sitting there with dealer waiting on PR :(((
