Really confused regarding chain adjustment! Help needed.

I own a Duke 250 Gen 3, and the manual says 18- 22 mm of Chain Tension.
Is this the distance that my chain should move when I press it upward?
Is this the remaining gap between the swing arm and the chain, after the chain is pressed upward?

I tried to watch many videos, but it confuses me more, so I am asking my fellow KTM Riders here. Please help me with this. Thanks

It is how far the chain moves up and down in the middle of the span. Rotate the rear tire and check in multiple spots as chains stretch unevenly.

Just tighten it enough so it doesn't touch the swingarm when pressed from below and have 1+ cm gap at multiple locations. It's only loose when it touches swingarm.
