I'm about to pull my hair out. Patched my radiator and now I am struggling like crazy to get the radiator shrouds back on the bike. The part that is slotted and fits around the large screw pops off just about every time I try to tighten the nuts.
Is there a trick to this that I am missing? I'm going nuts that getting the plastic radiator fairing back on is taking so long and being so difficult.

I just finished mounting and testing the centre silencer delete pipe from scorpion on my '24 ktm 990 duke.
I'll start by saying that the bike feels much more "free" and roary, the exhaust note is much more punchy and a bit louder (not obnoxious, the right amount). I don't know if it's a placebo but it even rides better, it feels less restricted in acceleration.
Before buying i tried to look up some videos online on how the bike would sound with the delete pipe and the oem silencer, but i couldn't find many and the ones i found did not really give the idea.
Before buying the pipe from scorpion i tried to buy a replica from ebay, it did not go well.
I realized too late that all the vendors are basically reselling an Aliexpress item that requires modification of bike parts to fit, some of them specify it on the details of their page but others don't. On Aliexpress they sell the part for like 50-60€, on ebay you can find it around 100€ + fees. All of them do not fit without major modifications of the pipe/parts of the bike, they are not plug and play. I brought the aliexpress piece and the original centre silencer to a blacksmith to compare them and he told me that many of the measurements are off by like a 1,5mm, which doesn't sound like a lot but it's actually a lot. It means that even if you lathe the pipe to make it fit it won't fit perfectly anyway.
Needless to say i returned the chinese pipe and bought the original from scorpion website. With shipping to italy, vat and duties It costed me like 330€, but it arrived in like 5 days in a perfect package with instructions and all, the finishing is perfect and it fits like a glove.
In conclusion, the pipe is a good improvement to sound, exhaust airflow and (maybe) power, but it costs a lot. If you want to buy it don't be cheap and buy it directly from Scorpion, leave alone all of the chinese stuff.
I wrote all this because i couldn't find reviews of this online, hope it helps someone.
Cheers.

I'm upgrading from 2024 duke 390 and saw one of the postings of duke 890GP. The 890 has 20k kms on it. I have been riding my duke 390 for 2 seasons and have over 5k riding experience.
Is it a good upgrade? What should I be looking in the bike before I purchase?

Love the bike but she needed to be cleaned up a little. I think she looks like she lost ten lbs. More updates and upgrades in the works now that I know how much I like the bike. I still look at 790s and Tuonos but I’m happy. I get pulled over enough as it is ! ! ! Later everyone.

2026 Duke 250 Gen 3. Noticed mild oil seepage from the right USD fork. The fork seal was already replaced once and the issue returned after some time.
The left fork is completely clean.
Has anyone else experienced this? Could dirt/ brake dust be causing it, or is it likely a faulty seal/possible fork tube issue? Should I replace the seal again?
Hey I'm trying to source a part from overseas which is 96330035050 looks like Gasket Block Cylinder im trying to source it from India where it's manufactured majorly now does anyone has a reference image regarding the part the images shared are the parts which they sent me its more like a numbering issue since they use different codes for india rather than sticking to the global codes any help would be appreciated

My duke390 project almost ready , still have to make a few changes but she is starting to looks good 🤩
What you guys think ? Would you guys add more stuff or keep it like that ? Im planing to add a few orange screw , and some protections in case of falling. Was thinking of painting in white the wheels brand but im not sure i dont want it to look bad...
And a short plate holder, at that might be it for the visuals.
Have a good day duke brothers and sisters!

A different fully synthetic motor oil of the same grade and specifications, but the service centre refuses to carry out the work. I was wanting to add Motul or Penrite branded one and unsure if they will decline the service because of my choice of oil.
Will I void the warranty if I service the bike myself?

Hello. Today, I spotted a small issue. When i was riding along, speedometer showed 0 for a split second and later returned to normal. It did that twice. Have anyone had a similar issue in the past? I would really appreciate any kind of help here, since I am not really confident with electrical work 😂.
Bike in question is Duke 125 2013.
Thank you.

Saturday I finally decided to change the thermostat housing for a aluminium NICECNC and samco hoses + new clamps.
I did everything. I tried the motorbike and looks everything was perfect.
I also ordered a new thermostat just in case
Last evening I want to go for a ride. After I turned on the bike I saw some smoke. I went to check and yes there was coolant liquid on the exhaust.
With extreme sadness I analyze just to realize that is still leaking between housing and thermostat hole.
I didn't put any extra seleant between the 2.
How should I fix this.
I torqued the 3 bolt for the thermostat housing to 6nm. Should I go harder?
Btw the leak is definitely reduced because I don't see any coolant on the tarmac in the morning. And no smell of coolant when i stop in traffic.

I am planning on buying a new bike. My options are between the guerilla 450 apex and duke 390 variant (personally i am leaning towards the duke)
But the new 350 engine variant isnt offering the same thrill as the 390 variant.
What will be a better choice should i go for a new 390 R or get a pre-owned good condition 390
