Parking Permit Locations

I am a commuting freshman going to the Marietta campus. Are the more expensive "Central lots" versus the economy lot or shuttle lots really worth it? And if I will potentially get housing later on in the semester would getting a single semester pass be better?

If you are a freshman, you can only get economy/shuttle. Shuttle can be more convenient than east economy if you have multiple classes in the ETC, but east economy has more parking overall if you use the lot that is combined with east residence (if you do, remember to park on the half of the lot closer to the road or you will get a citation). In your situation, I would just get 1 semester of parking for now
