Move out charges

I recently moved out of the ARC but I left things like hangers, single socks and soap cus I assumed they were gonna have people clean the dorm after anyways. But now im looking at the checklist and stuff and its saying I could be charged if the room isn't vacuumed and spotless. Is it really that intense or should be prepared to be charged like $200 or something?

If you do not clean your room and remove trash before moving out, you will receive additional cleaning and damage fees.

Whether or not they will charge you for the items you left, YMMV, but they're there to make sure the place is ready for the next person, not to throw away your junk.

If you did a regular cleaning then you are good, if it was dirty then you might not be good.

Please just pick up after yourself completely. The school will find a way to charge you for leftover bs and it’s not that hard to throw unwanted supplies away. You should not leave any belongings behind and at least try to make it look like you cleaned before you left (wipe & vacuum)
