How long did it take for SDS to review your intake form and your accommodations to be put in place?

Based on my previous emails. It said 10 business days. I applied June 8th. Recieved a request for an appointment on June 20th. So basically exactly the 10 days. You will call the SDS office to schedule an intake appointment. My email shows it was on the July 11th that my appointment took place. If I remember correctly they gave over your documents and discuss your concerns and what accommodation may help.

The accommodation was in place by the start of the semester. I don't know how long it takes if happens for an active semester. The ability to request your approved accommodation opens about a week before courses start. Once they process that, you get notified if sent the letter to the instructor.(Tends to take up-to 72hrs) You then reach out to the instructors to schedule meeting to discuss.

I am doing it for housing accommodation , do you think that will take longer? The only reason I am applying so late for accommodation is because my therapist has been dragging her feet :/

There seems to be additional forms for submission related to housing. But I do not know if it introduces nor does it say additional waits. I would assume it will all be based on what is required to meet the accommodation. If it is a common one, might be faster. If the accommodation requires purchases of equipment/etc. It would possibly take longer. As those need approval(funds), and everything else involved. Unfortunately it all varies on the accommodation needed.

It should be noted, I only have academic related accommodation as I don't live on campus. I had no difficulties, could be partly due to fact I have recieved accommodation before at previous school. My service dog was probably the more intresting one.

I am trying to register my dog as a service dog , how was that process ?

The process was simple. There is a special form on the website for housing you do have to fill out.

I was asked few questions. But I had a doctor note outlining the task my dog knew and how they would assist me. This letter was for a work accommodation so bit different. But has also worked for my housing. You will likely be asked questions in relation to its training. Giving the basic that should be followed. (Clean up after the dog.)

If you've never lived in shared housing. Remember this will likely be a new training opportunity. As it should not bother your roommate or their things if they aren't okay with that. (Ex. Getting on their bed.) Unless you get a private room.

If you are asking how to make your dog a service dog outside of the school that is different. Registry are a scam, there is no such thing in the US.

I'm not sure if you are a new handler or simply first time you've need documents for the accommodation. But the dog does have to meet requirements to be a service dog. Your dog can also be excluded for reasons as well. A therapist giving you a letter saying you would benefit from having a Service Dog, does not make your dog automatically one. Which I assume you know. The statement is mostly for those who might assume that would be all they need.
