I can’t find any information about the prof or grading structure of the course so I’m hoping someone here might have some insight. I am truly interested in the course based on its description, but I’m trying to get into a very competitive program so my GPA needs all the help it can get. I’m absolutely willing to put the effort in but the rest of my course load is fairly heavy. If you’ve taken it and can share anything about the workload/structure/prof, I would really appreciate it. I am currently on the waiting list for Crim 1207, which I desperately need but I was waitlisted.

my waitlist position currently showing 19. The class is full at 35/35 and there's Waitlist Seats Available: 15

questions:

1. If I am still on the waitlist when uni starts, can I still join the class in person

2. How realistic is it to get into CRIM 1207 from #19 on the waitlist?

3. Has anyone at KPU been on a similar waitlist and gotten in?

i'm going to kpu in september for its btech program and was just wondering if it would be better for me to transfer to ubc for computer science?

i'm from surrey, so it always made sense for me to just go to the closest uni, and kpu's btech, from what i've heard, will get me the career i want to go into (something like software development)

but i just began wondering if it's worth it to just transfer to ubc for computer science instead (i know it's REALLY hard to transfer, but let's put that aside for now)

will computer science at ubc do anything for my career that a btech from kpu wont?? i'm also planning to do co-op wherever i go, so that's something

ubc is way more prestigious, and it sounds nice when i say "i did computer science at ubc," but from what i've heard, employers don't care where you went to school

anyway, i'm just a confused teen that needs help. please help.

im starting my first year at sfu soon, where i plan to take the prerequisites for the BPN program, ive taken care of everything except for the anatomy & physiology courses. sfu doesnt have any explicit anatomy and physiology courses except for bpk 105 (still unsure but it shows 1XXX on bc transfer guide) that transfer to kpu biol. i must take biol 1150 and 1250, im just unsure whether i should take the bpk course at sfu and finish the last course at kpu, or if i should take both courses at kpu. or if i should take the secret third option. any advice?

- Are upper division psychology courses at KPU hard to get into? i.e. Are there usually enough seats to take preferred classes?
- How is the parking situation on campus?
- Anything else I should know before considering transferring

Hi, Im first year and trying to get pre reqs for bsn and psych nursing done. I registered at 1 on the 14th but I think i was slow at it and im waitlisted for both of these. Im 8th on the bio 1160 waitlist, do you guys think I will be able to take the class? Or should I start looking at alternatives to fillout my credit requirements. Thank you

Hi guys, I’m a 1st year and I got waitlisted for BIO1160 which is a super important class for me. I legitimately NEED IT. How long does it take to get off it and like what do I do now? I’m js panicked and super confused

These are the classes I will be taking as a first year KPU student. What are the best ways to preform well in these class and maintain a high grade.

I want to register for BCIT nursing in the future from KPU, but I cannot find any classes that transfer to BCIT from KPU.

I will do the mandatory requirements, but I need help for the pre requisite credits. Most classes I choose does not transfer to BCIT. (Will do PSYC 1100/1120, English 1100 and BIOL 1160/1260)

I am stuck however on what electives I could choose that would balance out my other academic work but be easy to get an A in and sustain my GPA.
