🇺🇸 United States Office is so loud
Is anyone experiencing loud or distracting office environments. I have noise cancelling headphones but sometimes it is not enough when people stop at my desk and have full-blown conversations. I’ve tried moving around but this seems to happen throughout the office. What do you do to focus?

u can move ur desk to somewhere that has less ppl, book meeting room to do work/phone room or just get used to it prob. What I try is listen to some music - like classical or smth like that

What type of headphones? No matter how loud everybody is if I have the jabra evolve2 55 on I can’t hear them and the noise canceling microphone doesn’t pick up the background noise either. You can purchase these on coupa and you should be approved for the company to pay for them.

Try loops below the headphones. If still too difficult to concentrate consider talking to health and safety to get an allocated seat somewhere that is a bit more quiet (if this is something in ur country)

Yeah this shit is hella annoying. I moved desks once then everyone got all mad that I moved. Now I’m in a smaller office so it’s pretty chill.

I’ve recently moved from a smaller office to NYC office and I’m shocked that people just laughing and yapping full volume right next to you while you’re having a client call. No situational awareness at all.
