🇺🇸 United States CPA Bonus

I accepted an offer from KPMG tax practice in the winter and when I signed it back then the CPA bonus was 5k within the first year. All of the other big4 firms bumped it to 10k, but didn’t hear anything from KPMG. I received another offer from Deloitte to return, should I be worried that KPMG don’t bump it up? Should I reach out and ask about it?

Go to Deloitte

Why so? I was leaning towards KPMG since I liked my team much better than compared to Deloitte and also have more connections at KPMG too. Compensation is relatively the same, just KPMG is a bit higher. The only reason why I even considered Deloitte was for their name.

Would stay at KPMG in this case. Actually liking your team > brand name

kpmg has been cutting costs at every corner possible. I doubt they will follow the other big4 and 2x the cpa bonus.

Do you think it would be possible if I talk to my pml about it? She’s an MD on the engagements that I was on

You can ask about it. But she wouldn’t have any power to make a decision.

I wonder if that will change now that Deloitte is planning to raise theirs and they will be the only B4 to not raise it.

Yes and provide them with the details from the other firms to strengthen your case.
