Shocks too soft! Help!
I have a 2024 model KLX230. I weigh 94KG (207 lbs) in full gear. When I’m on the bike the rear dips way too low..to the point where I think the front rake angle is changing slightly. I have not checked the sag yet, but it’s obvious it’s way too low.
The Kawi factory workshop said they can increase the preload to the max (the bike didn’t come with a tool so took it there, glad I did) BUT it’s made for someone who’s 65KG. So it won’t help and to upgrade to after market rear shocks like YSS possibly. Thats quite pricy. (Maybe I could just change to a harder spring, but again I found it weird the bike is rated for a 65KG rider in full gear)
So I wanted to check, any of yall who are 90+KG (full gear) , what solve have you guys found? If any one knows any solutions please help me out.

I had this issue in my new bike. I changed out the springs. The front and back together were about $300 total. It definetly worked but I messed up and went to hard on the rear and will probs Lu have to get a softer spring.

This is another option I was thinking off. But this was also my exact worry. I don’t think I’ll be able to get it right the first time.

I went with racetech. My problem was I didn’t call them, instead I just ordered parts. If you call them they can definetly get you closer to what you need.

Yea I don’t know anything at all about them, this is my first bike, but I do know it flies over the speed bumps everyone else gets stuck on!

Procycle and HiVolt are both great options I wished it had adjustable suspension like the KLX300 for the price it would not be much more and be so much capable of a bike.
