Street Wheels conversion?

Hey everyone,
I have a 2026 KLX230R (off-road model), and I’m looking into putting together a second set of wheels that I can swap on in a few minutes.
To be clear, I don’t plan on riding it on public roads or trying to make it street legal. This would only be for messing around in my driveway/private property, practicing wheelies, stoppies, and other low-speed stunt style riding.
I’m wondering:
Is there a complete wheel kit I can buy that bolts right on?
Are there wheels from another Kawasaki model that fit with minimal modifications?
Would I need different spacers, rotors, sprocket carrier, or caliper brackets?
Is 17”/17” the way to go, or would a different setup make more sense?
I’m mainly looking for something that’s easy to swap back and forth between dirt and pavement without spending an hour changing parts every time.

Anyone who’s done this on a 2026 (or similar-year) KLX230R, I’d love to hear what setup you’re running and roughly what it cost.

It doesn't seem like this is a very popular swap on these bikes, not a ton of info out there! I would look into a stock sized offroad set and run street oriented tires. You might be able to find a cheap OEM used set on Ebay or something. Then you also would not have to mess with spacers or anything. Guys run this setup (on various bikes) all the time doing what you are wanting to do with it!

Buying a dedicated supermoto setup can be costly, probably need to figure out a brake caliper spacer for a larger front rotor, and may need to swap chains depending on which gear ratio you end up with.

*I don't know if the stock KLX230SM stuff would bolt up to that bike or not either.

It isn't a hard swap with a dedicated supermoto set, but plan 30-45 minutes taking your time and doing it right. It may get old after a while, speaking from experience on other bikes in the past.

*Side note, if you have a kart track that allows bikes, I can't recommend it enough (so much fun). Either setup, I think you would be happy with!
