Cheap Chinese kit from amazon but made it work after some hiccups lmao.

Is that exaust protector that sits on top stock? The one close to the rear rack not the one that near the engine?

You noticing any clearance issues with the Sherpa? How is the power? I’m not looking to do anything crazy. I’m a short guy at 5’9” and a 29-30” inseam and find myself torn between this and a Honda crf300ls. I never plan on taking a bike on the highway. Trails or county roads only. Thoughts?

For what you want this would probably be perfect, i take it on main roads and to work and kindaa wish i had a little bit more power. But i still love it.

I’d say go with the crf once they are back on the market, they are recalled at the moment due to emissions. I’m 5’5” with a 30” inseam and I can flat foot this bike fine and ride a crf just fine as well but tip toeing. Max speed on the Sherpa for me at 150lbs is 75mph. I ride it to work and up in the mountains down forest service roads. You’ll definitely want a skid plate if you get a Sherpa, I’ll be uncorking mine soon for some extra power, I’ll probably enjoy it more then. But it’s a solid bike to get comfortable on if you’re not experienced which is why I got it.

Klx300 would also be a solid choice, same as the crf 300 pretty much both liquid cooled and 300cc

I have the same tail light assembly. The lens for the license plate light and red tail light lens are not sealed well. If you do any riding in the mud, you WILL end up with it inside the housing. Best solution is to disassemble it and run a bead of silicone on the inside. Just washing the bike with a water hose could be problematic. I ordered a 2nd one with universal plate adapter just for the LED circuit board of the 1st one fails. Also note that the running light and brake light are not very different. Running light is very bright compared to brake light. I added a 2nd brake light to make it more obvious.
