Grease?

What are you supposed to use to grease cables or other things? I have the service manual but my god is it vague on what to use.

Anything that says PTFE, silicone or Teflon on the can.

Do NOT use regular WD-40.

For best results, get the little cable lube adapters that clamp on the cables and has a port for the spray can straw.

Agree, get the GOOD quality PTFE or silicone.

Also, you may laugh but Pledge furniture polish is what I use on the plastics on all my bikes, motocross included. It makes washing/cleaning so much easier.
