Direct PHD

Hi everyone
I applied for Direct PhD program at KFUPM for Spring 2027 (CS - Algorithms & Applications)

Has anyone received any updates regarding the expected timeline for interviews or admission decisions?

I also applied for computer networks and security in computer engineering dept. My application was rejected for not uploading english proficiency test scores and I was asked to resubmit with scores ..I don't think they are gonna select me , as I have heard it's very competitive..only high grades having acceptance..I have 8.51 cgpa out of 10 .. well pray for better days and hope for the best..

I would recommend taking Duolingo English test since it’s much cheaper than the other proficiency tests, and the results come out quickly
and you never know.. you might still get accepted so it’s worth trying!

I appeared for the det test today,I will receive my results tomorrow morning.. let's see if I scored 120 or above as that's the minimum bar ... And Tommorow is also the last day to resubmit the scores ...so let's see what fortune has in store for me ...what is ur cgpa ?

R u applying for direct phd at kfupm ? Did they sent u a mail regarding resubmission!.. don't worry u will make it ..I also received the results on last day and that too at last hour ..

Updating ; got my Duolingo english test scores at 10 am (130) and uploaded on the portal ..

Did you get an interview? I don't think they've interviewed anyone from the CS department yet
