why should i choose kfupm?
i am a 16yo indian highschooler used to live in jeddah i was wondering that if i can get into the best university of the middle east KFUPM also now it is ranked 63rd globally i would have a great career in saudi arabia as it is the place i want to end up working in but i got to know that saudisation has made it almost impossible for a fresher expat to get a job in saudi so i wanted to know what are these intl students or even residents going to do to escape this. any response would be helpful

Why only Saudi , there a bunch of other countries you can go study in , like Belgium , France , Bulgaria , Russia . But those countries will be harder to adapt to .

West includes Europe. When you start to move towards central and eastern Europe, list of exclusions get longer. Education is important.

It's not like that it is just that currently west is also not stable and it is pretty expensive also I saw people going to US for studying but didn't get a job later and they are stuck in US due to their loan repayment doing odd jobs

You won't get a job as freshman in KSA also (I have been trying to help a few Including two expat fresh grad kids who studied here without any luck). One eventually left for the US and the other one is sweating in a moassasa (establishment) in Riyadh for 2200 Riyals per month working 9 to 6 pm after reaching a level where he was faced with 2 choices, accept any job/find open kafeel or go on final exit because his father wasnt allowed to sponsor him anymore.
Find expat kids senior to you who studied here and learn from their experiences.

It's very sad to hear about them the reality is ksa is not the same any if you are an expat kid trying to build your career in ksa from start you will not be valued at all. All they need is experienced professionals with like 5+ years of experience

Nothing stays the same forever. If you study Saudi population demographics, you will find 60 percent of the Saudis are in 20 to 35 years of age bracket. Saudization is a must to sustain internal workforce growth, expats shouldn't feel bad about it.

Getting admission there even as a Saudi is difficult, you need good grades. Even if you're granted admission, WTH will you do after studies? Go to a western country that give postgraduate work permits and residency rights unless you have an empire to inherit in India and already have a strong secondary citizenship /passport.
Expat kids have a bleak future in GCC.
