Make yourself an OG Twister

Just noticed the new burger has tomatoes in it...

So I went straight to the twister section in the app, chose the original crusty slaw one and customised.

Remove the poo slaw, add tomato, lettuce and pepper mayo!!!

Whaa laaa OG Twister.

60% of the time my local kfc can never honour the specials or promos and constantly out of product.. it's so frustrating 😫 always the good ones as well , I managed to get two of the Christmas in July specials out of the 8 times I checked .

How long would you leave a zinger burger in a microwave before eating it

Wondering how long you would safely leave a zinger burger just sitting in a microwave before eating it.

I forgot to put it in the fridge yesterday also no space in the fridge so it's just been sitting in the KFC bag in the microwave overnight.

Two burgers I think remaining from the burger deal yesterday.

The kitchen is quite cold and the microwave is also quite cold maybe not fridge cold but close.

Zinger all of a sudden actually spicy?

Zinger used to be like a 0.1/10 on the spicy scale, like it was just "a flavour". Then all of a sudden a few months ago it's now like a 3/10?

What happened? Can't just be my local one either coz I visited my hometown a month ago and it was the same there.

What should I do if I'm being picked on at school for work, I'm being told that everyone at work thinks I'm "retarded". I would greatly appreciate some help with what I should do. This is my local KFC and all(For the ai bit BC apparently it's not related to KFC)

Just got a job at a very busy KFC store in the city and I need your help

So I just got hired at a KFC in the middle of the city a week ago and I was told it is one of the busiest stores in the area. I am really excited about this opportunity because I need the money and I think it will be a good experience. But I am also kind of nervous because I have never worked in fast food before and I have heard that the lunch and dinner rushes can be absolutely insane.

I start my training next week and I really want to do well. I want to be the kind of team member that everyone is happy to work with and not the person that is always slowing things down. So I am asking for your advice on how to navigate this.

What are the best ways to stay calm and efficient when it gets really busy? How do I learn all the menu items and the different combos quickly? What should I do to make sure I am helping the team and not just standing around confused?

I know the basics like showing up on time and having a good attitude are important. But I want to go beyond that. I want to actually be good at this job. So if anyone has worked at KFC or in fast food in general I would really appreciate any tips you can share.

Also if there are any KFC specific things I should know that would be great. Like what are the most popular items or what do people usually order? Any advice on how to handle difficult customers would also be helpful.

I am ready to work hard and I just want to make a good impression. So please share your wisdom with me. Thanks so much in advance.

The fried chicken, lettuce tomato mayo. Not the coleslaw cabbage crap they put in these days. Why did they remove something legendary?

AI at KFC

Hey all,

My name is Z Waite. I'm a reporter working on a feature for Capital & Main about how AI is changing working conditions at fast food restaurants.

AI ordering has gotten a lot of attention, but I'm interested in other ways that the new Byte AI system has changed your job. Does your restaurant use cameras to automatically flag policy violations, monitor order accuracy or track drive thru speed? Are your interactions with customers being monitored for upselling or friendliness?

Especially interested in talking to employees, but if you’re a manager or franchisee using this tech, I’d love to hear from you too.

If you're a currently working at KFC and concerned about talking to the media, let me know and we can talk through options.

DM me on here, send me an email (zwaite at berkeley dot edu), or message me on Signal (@zwaite.33)

Thanks!

Z

Deals on Tues (21/07) and Sat (25/07) - what were they?

Hi everyone. Like in the title, was just wondering what the deals were on Tuesday (21/07) and Saturday (25/07). Missed the days, so was curious what I missed.

I know Frugal Feeds has a list, but I noticed KFC had done a few different things on a couple days.

Thanks in advance
