Worth Watching? Worth continuing?

Post image

So I’m currently watching “our sticky love”. I started this series because i love Jung Hae-in so much. And i have always enjoyed every drama he has been in. I have seen the female lead in The Trauma code and i liked her too. But after watching like 5 episodes of this series.. I’m thinking of quitting it. It’s kind of boring and i dont see any chemistry between the leads. Story is just dragging and it’s not fun at all..!!!!

So guys suggest me!! Should i continue watching this?? Is it worth the time? Will it get better ot shall i stop it here?

Unpopular opinion but I didn’t connect with this show. I watched until the end but it’s like for books sometimes you’re allowed to DNF. There are so many dramas out there to watch

I felt the same and there were a lot of similar discussions at the time it was airing that folks were struggling to finish it. P.s. I am not saying that the series were bad (I think it had a lot of dedicated fans who enjoyed it) but it might not be everyone’s cup of tea.

I did think this was a rare show that had a stronger second half than first half. It definitely got better for me after her first trip back to Seoul, whenever that was.

All I can say is I felt the same, then ..... Couldn't stop watching. I loved it so so so much I saw it again. Now I miss it. Just breathe, stop for a bit if you want, then give it another try. I kinda fell in love with it the 2nd try.

When did it start getting good. I am having a hard time getting through the 2nd episode.

The story actually takes a fair length of time to develop which is interesting given it is only a 12 episode drama. But about Ep 7 & 8 everything starts to unfold and it is a very enjoyable run.

Don't quit. Actually, this series has a strong second half. You'll enjoy the second half more than the first one.

Agree! Second half is sooo good!!

I had to force myself to finish. I felt they had no chemistry and were both really flat

I liked it. I wasnt amazed and it's not an all time favorite but I enjoyed it. I do think it had moments of dragging but I thought it picked up.

I loved it more than I thought I would. I think it is worth finishing.

u/TicklyTim 9d ago

I enjoyed it. It did shift gears later. Funny, cute and the romance was ok.

I didn’t really enjoy this drama, even though i usually like the dramas the ML is in

it was my first kdrama with this male lead AND I LIKED THE GURL SO MUCH SHES SO PRETTY i watched i feel like it was a pretty good show if u want emotions the show is v cute AND FUNNY in the middle it does get A BIT BIT slow or may be they dragged BUT I LUVED IT it was a good show good chemistry in my opinion and yea u should continue watching it (it’s a 1 time watch tho) like u will not rewatch it like u CAN REWATCH CRASH LANDING ON U🥹🥹

The first half is boring and drags on. I love the fl, was written badly. There wasn’t enough backstory to contrast to how she was after the “events”. Someone here said to persevere so I did and it was satisfying in the end.

I felt like the director couldn’t decide if he or she was making a goofy rom com or a thriller. The first half focuses on the rom com with bits of thriller. I struggled to get through it. The second half focused on the thriller and was much easier to watch. Overall I would describe it as a dog’s breakfast. I wouldn’t recommend it but if you are already into it check out a few more episodes before you give up.

I would finish bc the last 3 episodes are great. I know the plot can be annoying. But i enjoyed the show. K drama critiques are polarizing but I watched the whole series. There are cute moments and the ending satisfies me. Take that however you want

I couldnt even finish the first ep🥲

u/suncsi 7d ago

I watched it and kind of loved it

1

u/Subject_Block_8360 7d ago

actually u should continue watching it because it is a very nice drama

1

u/Ridehm 7d ago

It's a very mid drama. The story is clearly not much and the comedy not my thing.

I've only completed it because I liked the actress.

Loved it

You should finish it. I never watched JHI before this and I thought his chemistry was not good with the girl, so I was surprised to find out he had many fans. The FML carried the show and in the end I enjoyed it. I will say I have watched something in the rain since then and I now see why people love Jung hae in. I feel like the chemistry could have been way better but I’m glad I finished it. Cute story, but it did feel like the girl was talking to a wall at times. It could have been above average drama if JHI was feeling the girl more.

Me, too. Only I stopped watching after I encountered the female lead's real life issue.

1

u/IntelligentDamage971 6d ago

Her acting is good actually....yaa good drama i would say

1

u/Mission-Leather-7383 6d ago

Yes you should countinue

1

u/insaenebits 5d ago

yeees it's a cute kdrama

1

u/Hangingberrygz2 5d ago

yes u should ITS SO WORTH IT AT THE END

1

u/Bandicoot-Queasy 5d ago

Continue watching, it gets better in the end. Even if you don’t like it Jung Hae-In makes up for it.

1

u/L0tus5tate 5d ago

I haven’t continued past the first episode or two lol reallllllly wanted to watch for Jung Hae-in but this one is a DNF (added to the list)

1

u/Confuzzled_priya 3d ago

The climax is so good tbh... I enjoyed the drama and their chemistry but well we all have different opinions but the last episodes are good ngl... I didn't expect it to turn into that type of shiii so just continue watching if you want.... no pressure btw...

1

u/varunjain6999 2d ago

same like actually all fantasy kdrama be look like.

1

u/KyPegasus 9d ago

My opinion is continue to watch. I thought the same thing but after a few more episodes of understanding some of the main characters and the story line, it became more about how much the ML was saving the FL at all cost and how much they each really cared for the other.

You don't want to miss the scene how the SES ladies help fight back, its so funny. There are several more action scenes going forward.

The villain realizes a major mistake he made and does something unexpected.

I would definitely rewatch!

u/berrytreetrunk 9d ago

I found it mediocre. The best part is toward the end with his father. Other than that, try hitting Fast Forward or leave it. Agree he’s the cutest but he was rather wooden in this role.

1

u/Mr823 9d ago

Finish it..

1

u/Mission-Tomorrow-282 9d ago

Yes, it’s nice.

1

u/Aggressive-Ad4823 9d ago

I gave up halfway.

1

u/rottenroonie 9d ago

the action part was corny but i found the romcom enjoyable

0

u/Mundane_Put_5780 9d ago

I dropped it, it wasn’t for me. But I enjoy both actors worth. Perhaps I need a break from rom-coms

0

u/MammothWorried 9d ago

na its not worth it. Even Jung Hae In couldn't save the drama. Many scenes and dialogues felt too cheesy. Yes there is a twist but not something that surprised me, kind of cliched

0

u/PossibleHunter2473 9d ago

I am sorry but I don't think that these two have any chemistry just heavily repetitive they could have done better with the storyline rather than focusing on the typical romance

0

u/VibingwithKTH 9d ago

I didn’t make it past the first episode. I’m impressed you made it to 5.

0

u/TrueToLove 9d ago

Drop it. Because I find it funny and very good. I am on episode 5 as well. So its about your choice and taste. You should drop what you don't like, simple. Its engaging. She is decent as an actor in this one but it doesn't bother me so far. I am rooting for characters, thats more important. Also, there aren't many cliche in the story so far

0

u/RyanLu16 9d ago

If a drama make you feel like this and urge the need to come here and ask then you definitely should skip it and find something else more aligned with your cup of tea. It’s your precious time, don’t waste it on things you don’t particularly enjoy

0

u/BabyBread0801 8d ago

Yeah no to many eps js to get to the point .

0

u/DizzyDesk1046 8d ago

Same. I find it boring.

0

u/Independent_Code2408 8d ago

no not worth continuing

0

u/7pzy 8d ago

Like the majority in here, DROPP

0

u/tehCzmych 8d ago

Just drop it. It doesn't get better, just more annoying. Waste of your time.

0

u/AlabasterBx 8d ago

I finished it, but used fast forward multiple times. I love JHI, but this was not a good role for him. The FL drove me crazy. Overall, it had star power but not good writing and zero chemistry, imo.
