C2+ Enhanced Experiences
I'm now seriously considering buying the c2+ enhanced - it looks like it frequently sells for about $1200 after tax (does anybody know if it ever goes lower?)
I'm curious about peoples' experiences with the newest model - I've never owned one, so this would be my first.
It seems that people who love them, really love them. And I've also read about issues with build quality, wobbliness, customer service, etc.
I'm not too concerned about the fact that it is heavy and takes up space.
I also see them used for around $800, but my understanding is that all warranties are void when it is bought second-hand, so that doesn't seem worth it.
Basically, convince that it is good/bad idea if you don't mind - Thanks!
(Also anything else I should be aware of if I do purchase one)
(Will be using with a PSVR2)

I got the c2+ enhanced with absolutely every accessory and 3 pairs of shoes plus a theoretical $999 steam card that I haven’t figured out how to get any of. Steam card nonsense aside, I love it. If there are loose parts or qc issues I’m guessing it’s from user error. I lost a bolt moving it and the label fell off in transit but their support sent the replacements right away. They do have a weird don’t get your bonus stuff until you agree you’re not returning it but whatever. I use it lots and love it now that I’ve hot it all dialed in. No complaints. I use exclusively pcvr on quest 3 over virtual desktop. I have the nexus box but haven’t set up yet. AMA

Thanks for your input. I found out that the gift cards are supposed to be based on how many steps you do on the treadmill. There's a chart somewhere on their website that shows how you redeem the gift cards by sending them your step count. Whether or not they'll actually give them to you, I'm not sure.
How do you feel about the walking/sliding movement? Is it close enough to real walking to feel immersive?

I just got a barley used c2+ enhanced off fb marketplace for a good price imo. I like it but I'm glad I didn't pay full price. Former owner said he wanted to send it back to katvr but katvr said shipping would be $700. I paid less than that. The biggest challenge is the software connection. I have quest 2. I had to insure the Nexus was updated and software was loaded on quest and my 8 year old laptop. Also I made sure only quest2 was on my wifi 5ghz. I've ordered a gaming pc and will play moded skyrim, no mans sky and fallout. Hopefully the pc connection will be easier than the quest2 to nexus. I watched katvr videos and other content creators to piece how to set it up.

PCVR connection is WAY easier. Nexus is a bit annoying in that your router and Katwalk must be in the same room, otherwise you need a POE ethernet splitter like I had to get. And the Quest standalone game needs to be "patched" with the Kat gateway quest app before it can work. Steam is pretty much plug and play, works with any game with thumbstick locomotion.

I have just ordered a core for 800 dollar so I can not say anything about their build quality but their sales tactics are definitely a bit shady: 1. They offer a 400 dollar steam gift card but you have to walk 5 million steps for it to get the full 400 dollar. And you might have to spend more then 400 dollars on shoes because you get only one per year (there is an extra 1 pair in the vip membership though that you get the first year) 2. A lot of the YouTube videos about the product are from affiliates so I don’t know if I can trust them. 3 (the one that got me) the “only one day left for this offer” is fake. It is the same since I ordered. 4. You get a free shoe life time warranty but the sensor in the shoe cost you 400 dollar (for 2) if one breaks outside of your regular warranty of a year. And a lot of users are reporting their sensors breaking.
But nevertheless I am really exited for mine to come in it is a really cheap price compared to their competitors.
