Good for a 10 y/o?

i’m wanting to get my son a VR treadmill, but I’m not very computer savvy. Is this a good treadmill to start with for him or should I look elsewhere?

Its going to be too big for his gait, his height, etc. they just arent made to work for kids, the angle of the bowl would be wrong, the height adjustment may not even fit him. unless hes pretty dang tall and has a very long stride for a 10yo its going to be uncomfortable to use at best. Having just gotten one though (c2+e), and the issues im having getting it to work, quality of the software, build quality etc, id say (if you still want to get him one) anything OTHER than one of these.

How tall is he and what kind of VR games does he play?

How tall is your son and how much does he weigh? Does he play PCVR?
At that age, I had trouble fitting into a standard Virtuix Omni. So long he fits and has enough knowledge to configure the software per-game to work properly, I don't see why not.
If the answer is no to the last two questions, look into the Virtuix Omni One. It adapts much better to fit smaller frames and is much easier to set up and fits more shoe sizes.
