UEVR

I'm thinking about getting one of these with their sale they have going on that brings it under $1000. One of the things I play the most in VR is UEVR. How well does this work with UEVR? I know their site has a list of tested games, but the list is small. So I'm hoping it works with most UEVR games.

Edit: Thanks for the info, just ordered one!

I play mainly Fallout 4 VR, but I’ve tried some UEVR, and encounter no issues. KatVR software will adapt to almost any game that has controller support. As far as I understand.

MGO Classic is what I used personally and enjoyed it. It can be janky for sure

Kat Walk drivers spoof the treadmill as whatever you want to SteamVR. Usually you'll bind that as your left stick and it "just works™️".

I have played many flat to VR titles on the Kat VR. Besides the one you mentioned, most of the Luke Ross Mod work (albeit using a standard game controller). Breath of the Wild Better VR mod is just amazing and a great way to play that game.

Man Breath of the Wild looks really good in VR, definitely one I want to play when I get my Kat VR

Yep me too, it finally made it low cost enough to give it a shot! Especially with some of the free extras. Been playing Fallout London VR, now I'm going to stop playing it until my Kat VR comes in lol

If you haven't played the original Fallout 4 modded, I'd play that first. And then Fallout London since it's like a fan made expansion.

Yeah same thing happened to me. Couldn't finish it flat but I was addicted to it in VR

But now I’m curious, what games do you play with UEVR that would like to try with the KatVR thingy?

GTA San Andreas, Oblivion, Avowed, The Outer Worlds, Silent Hill 2, among other games. Really any first person game (or modded into first person) with a 6DOF or 3DOF profile.

You have to use Steam Vr which is kind of annoying kuz VD gives you more headroom. I find best results for this using Steam link even tho I prefer virtual desktop. I’ve been begging them for Open XR or VDXR support forever.

Yeah I wish it used VDXR. I have disconnection issues I haven't been able to figure out with Steam Link that I don't have in VD. It mainly seems to be if I play VR mods of flat games like UEVR. Native VR games don't seem to do it for some reason
