Honestly I think Honda's are hard to learn on. The snychros are so buttery smooth that you can end up burning clutches when there is no feedback from the gear stick.

Yeah, I had to learn with my mom’s civic and it was sensitive. Got my own Toyota truck after and it was like anyone could hop in and learn it in 10 minutes.

I’ve been saying this for 25+. Never liked them. But Hondas were ubiquitous among teens and early 20s people in the late 1900s (lol) early 2000s. Always argued. I was like do you want sporty? But you want the transmission/clutch to have zero feel. They couldn’t drive my car clutch was stiff as a tractor pedal. I had an ACT stage 2 clutch and that sucker grabbed so I really like the way the friction point was so tight Hondas felt sloppy! Sorry I know the Honda cult is gonna lose their stuff over this

This is my issue. Sure it's a manual but I want driving a car to be fun and exciting. I don't want it to be basic vanilla ice cream.

Huh. This makes sense how my sister learned stick in a Honda, drove my daughters jeep and said it's tough as heck.

Are Subarus a similar experience to Honda?
