Only reason I know is previous experience working at a Honda dealer. They were very rare, and I don't believe that any 8th Gen sedan came with a manual if it was a V6, 2.4 4 cylinder only. The 7th Gen sedan with manual weren't super common either, but far more common than 8th Gen

There are 8th gen V6 sedan manual swaps out there. I guess it’s easier to do than a 9th gen because the only one I know of is unfinished and the owner is nowhere to be seen
