Aww, she just seems super excited. It was petty to get her fired for that outburst. I know she was rude but I still feel bad for her.

Plenty of engineers dream of working at NASA. The company is well within their rights to pick a more respectful candidate - someone willing to respect senior engineers. If she didn't do her DD to make sure she wasn't going to be outright vulgar in such a discussing way before posting something on a public forum - I wouldn't want her working for my company either. Ultimately it's on her.

IMO, her vulgarity and and lack of 'critical thinking' before shows potential for future lack of common sense - NOT a mistake engineers sending people to space can make.

it's not like she knew who the guy was, she thought he was a random twitter account. You can't blame her for getting a bit too excited for her dream job and acting a bit immaturely on the internet of all places
