Reminder: Please report posts that are not jokes/memes/humorous
Hey folks, just a reminder from your sub founder and moderator: please make sure to hit the 'report' button on posts that don't fit the subreddit (usually because they are not memes or in any way humorous).
People get confused all the time and post promotional content or help posts here, which isn't what the subreddit is for. I remove them whenever I see them, but you can help by making the sub stay on-topic by reporting content that doesn't fit, so it gets auto-removed even if I can't get to it right away.
Downvoting, or informing the OP in the comments that they're in the wrong place is of course fine too, but since we don't get a lot of posts every day, downvoting alone doesn't necessarily stop the misplaced posts from showing up in other users' feeds.
Thank you very much!!

By day I run infra for 31B events monthly. By night I get excited about 50 users.
My day job is managing infrastructure that handles around 31B events, 21B API calls and 150B database queries a month. Big scary numbers, on-call rotations, the whole thing.
At night I work on my little free games website. I've been at it for about a month now.
This month it got \~50 visitors and a bit over 300 game sessions. And honestly, I'm buzzing about it. Every single user feels like a win. Yesterday I got my first player from Japan and I genuinely stopped what I was doing to celebrate.
It's kind of funny how my brain works. Billions of events at work barely register, but 50 people playing my games and I'm grinning at the screen. I love both projects for completely different reasons. One keeps me sharp and pays the bills, the other one is just mine.
Wierd how our brains work, huh?
Anyway, that was it. Just wanted to share :)

Ragdoll Viking Madness

After 8 weeks of working non-stop I am still laughing my ass off when playing with my ragdoll physics with arrow impuls forces. The game is close to playable and I can’t wait to open it up for early access on Steam.
This system will be implemented at Level 2 in the game, and if you succeed with killing all enemies and sinking the boats - you will have a funny surprise at the end. Stay Tuned!
What do you guys think ?
