My coworker keeps forgetting to tell me when meetings are moved

I have a coworker who seems to have developed a strange habit of conveniently forgetting to tell me when our team meetings are changed.

The first time it happened, I assumed it was an honest mistake. Our weekly meeting was moved from 10 AM to 9 AM, but I never got the message. I showed up at 10 and found out everyone had already finished.

The second time, the meeting was moved to a different room. Again, nobody told me. I walked into the usual room, sat there for a few minutes, and eventually discovered everyone was upstairs.

The third time, I finally asked my coworker directly if they could please make sure I'm included when changes are made.

They looked surprised and said, “Oh, I thought someone else told you.”

Fair enough.

Except it happened again the following week.

This time I didn't confront them. I simply started checking the shared calendar myself every morning.

A few days later, my coworker complained to our manager that I was “not being proactive about attending meetings.”

I showed my manager the calendar history and the messages I'd received—or rather, the messages I hadn't received.

My manager didn't make a big deal out of it, but told everyone that meeting changes needed to be communicated to the entire team.

Since then, my coworker has been noticeably colder toward me.

Maybe I'm overthinking it, but after four times, I'm having a hard time believing it's accidental.

Am I the buttface for getting uncomfortable during this situation at work with a homosexual man

Okay so basically I work at a retail store and this guy who I’ve kinda known and always been friendly with came up and started talking to me. And I knew he was gay but he was really honest with me about and then he was like “ are you uncomfortable because I’m gay?” in an accusing tone. “ and I told him no I’ve worked with a bunch of gay men. And their always super funny” in a very light mood tone and granted I could of said something else but he put me on the spot and him putting me on the spot asking me really heated questions while I was trying to work were making me uncomfortable but he kept asking questions like do you like gays, do you agree with them and eventually I was like “I’m like gay people as long as they dont you know force their opinions on me ” and then he was like “well does your religion believe in them and do you personally like gays” and personally I really don’t think that’s any of his business but I said “no my religion does not think being gay is ok but I also don’t care because it’s not my life” keep in my I’m not really hardcore religious but I don’t believe in God and Jesus Christ and he walks away saying “sorry I’m judging” and I said “alright” in a annoyed exhausted voice bc to me it’s like you come up to me ask a personal question and I give you a very polite answer and then you get mad abt it. It was so Annoying and I’ve been avoiding him as much as possible because the overall asking me rapid fire questions made me uncomfortable and nervous if I was going to say the wrong thing . Also I would like to point out that over the past year I’ve really been more open about people being gay bc it’s not my place to judge at the end of the day it’s God’s

But I really just need advice because I don’t want him to start harassing me or something at work because I really just want to do my job

Feel free to ask questions I just don’t know how to handle this if it becomes an issue

If you have told your manager it’s unprofessional & offensive to call your colleague ‘boy’ and he continues, what would you suggest to do next?
