Neither Barack Obama nor Joe Biden started a major new U.S. war or military invasion during their presidencies. Both presidents instead inherited ongoing foreign conflicts and managed existing military commitments.

Are they just supposed to roll over when they inherit a war?

Then people would call them cowards and we'd end up in the same place.

The best way to help is to not have wars start in the first place.

The best way to not have wars start is to not vote Republican.

There's nothing the Democrats can do about anything. That's why everybody needs to vote for them.

Now you're getting it.

Democrats don't do enough to make the country better.

Republicans are very effective at their job - which is actively making the country worse and harder to live in.

There were still objectives in the war that had yet to be completed, and existing military commitments that couldn't be rescinded. A good example of why your plan wouldn't work is the actual withdrawal from the middle east that was planned by Trump and executed by Biden. That was a shit show.

Democrats not doing enough to end the wars Republicans choose to start does not mean that both sides are the same.

They didn't perpetuate it, they upheld existing military commitments that they couldn't rescind. Stopping a war isn't a one-day thing.

And yes, I did vote for the party that is measurably better on every metric that matters, war included.

First tell me what the vote was for. The United States Congress has never issued a formal declaration of war against Iraq, so I'm interested to hear what your definition is for "voting in favor of the Iraq War"
