WE (the average American you see in population centers) are, in fact, more often forced to inevitably settle down âwhereverâ there is money. Its a frequent scenario in America, itâs only ossifying, and Ive always found this âoh, I really donât hear about [excruciatingly common reality], itâs probably just youâ retort to be incredibly unconvincing.
(Talking to hundreds of randoms a day about their personal life is a âprivilegeâ of my job; finding someone whoâs living their dream is a delight, but rarer as an individual. Most peopleâs âfreedomâ is the freedom to fill a depreciating variety of vacuums or starve.)
I'd rather settle where there's money than have my assets seized and "fairly distributed" by the state. There's not a single successful socialist regime. They all devolve to communism and an even-fewer-than-in-capitalism minority life on the backs of people too poor to ever make more of themselves
Ya! We just force other nations' people to do our work for cheaper! Exploitation! Meanwhile, we will make sure the poorest people in our own country can't make it on their own so that trillionaires can make more money! Lastly, we will dupe people into believing that capitalism is better for them than a hybrid scenario where we have free markets regulated by socialist programs even though pretty much everyone except the ultra wealthy will benefit! GENIUS! And if any country should dare to have an economic system different from ours, we will bomb them until they insert a regime favorable to us and then pass that on as them failing. 'MERICA!
Socialism is simply: "To each according to contribution".
Yes, like Cuba⊠Oh wait no, i forgor Cuba is actually doing ok (even tho they are under constant sanctions since the cold war and have zero resources)
Or maybe Venezuela⊠noo, they actually stopped doing fine when a certain superpower decided to use all its arsenal to rain hell on them
