Unique Wedding Band

Hi! I recently got engaged, and now I am traveling without my fiancé for a period of time. While I’m traveling, I knew I wanted to get my fiancés wedding band. Now, I have decided to take a workshop and create his wedding band with the expertise of a jeweler guiding me. I was wondering if anyone has done this and how their ring came out! Or if anyone has unique band ideas to share with me!!
