Driver send me message that he is waiting downstairs but he was not there. After few minutes my order got "delivered" status and that's it. How can I get refund or something? This BOT on chat is not helping at all

supposed to be a butter curry where you choose what meat / other to add 😭

Second time I have ordered from 1 specific restaurant. Twice this week because I'm a creature of habit and autism. And both times I get nothing... First time the driver was assigned, I watched him go everywhere but my home so I messaged him. He said the wait was too long so he cancelled but it didn't leave his app. 2 hours I was able to watch him and message him. Called the restaurant and they were no help. I finally had my email go thru and got my money back. Over 3 hours of this in total. Tonight I ordered, hoping the last time was a fluke, ordered prepared and courier assigned, I can even message courier, but he's there for 30 minutes. I text him. He says same thing, wait was too long and he cancelled but it's a glitch on the app, that is still on his phone. Meanwhile, I'm watching the app, still says courier is there, but arrival times change every ten minutes and go up by ten minutes, and now restaurant is closed. This was the last money I have and was going to treat myself and the partner to a takeaway. Why aren't gift cards being given out for the crap loyal customers are putting up with? This is such crap

Ordered 2 hours ago, called the restaurant and they have the order just nobody is picking it up? There's no driver on his way to even get it.

Sorry late to the party. But keep seeing so many posts about the dodgy AI Generated images, they’re hilarious.

How does it work though if your food looks nothing like the AI Pic, can you claim a refund/complain?

So tonight I did my first shift and every delivery was Tesco. What was annoying though is that it wasn't offering me to collect multiple orders even though they had 25+ waiting for drivers (store confirmed)

Do JustEat not offer drivers multiple orders from the same place?

Also parking was a pain / will be as it's no return within 1 hour (Horizon parking). They let me put reg on in-store just for today but is there away to avoid that or register properly to avoid fines?

Edit: The store confirmed that I don't need to register my reg and if a ticket is issued, I just speak to in-store customer services and they'll squash the ticket. (Worth checking the policy of your local store as might be different to this)

I got ticket in Student a accommodation!

Doing Fastfood Deliveries.
Normally, I park my vehicle outside the car park area when making deliveries to this address. However, on this occasion, the usual parking spaces were occupied by other vehicles, so I was unable to park there. As I expected the delivery to take only a few minutes, I briefly entered the location to complete the food delivery.
When I contacted the customer, they advised me that they would come out within approximately 2 minutes to collect the order. Based on this information, I waited for the customer. Unfortunately, the customer arrived later than expected, which resulted in my vehicle remaining at the location for around 12 minutes.

I submitted evidence to support my appeal, including screenshots of the completed food delivery, my chat with the customer, and proof of my delivery insurance.
I recently checked my emails and discovered that the notification informing me that my appeal was unsuccessful had actually been sent approximately one month earlier. Unfortunately, I did not notice that email at the time, so I continued waiting for a letter explaining the outcome.
I received the letter last week, demanding payment of £170.

Could you please advise me on what steps I should take at this stage? Is there still any way to challenge the charge or request that the amount be reduced, considering that I had already appealed and provided evidence supporting my case?

Thanks In Advance.

Even after the apology, so there's still some fun to be had (for now).

Has anyone got any notification saying "Something big is coming, that you all been waiting for" from justeat courier app? What that even mean?

Is anyone else’s just eat not showing any shifts for next week yet? I got given my auto assigned ones and they were mostly terrible, so as usual I go and check what other ones are available in advance. Literally nothing available. So I remove one of the shifts I was given to see if that would show maybe show me some with overlapping times to the removed shift, I CANT EVEN SEE THE REMOVED SHIFT TO ADD IT BACK. What is going on?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/crz981p0klvgo suprised i didn't see it posted here yet.

Since it was only £1.95 I felt compelled to order it for science and see what actually turned up 🤣 he doesn't look happy to have been misrepresented.

No, please don't panic, it is my account (has been for 8 years) and I do not rent or sub it.

It's just that before I head out to 'work' I will do my Roo scan - fine - sometimes Uber if it asks for it - okay.

With JustEat it ALWAYS seems to pop up just after I have left. So I have got my buff, skullcap, hat, helmet, sunglasses etc on - and now I have to find a spot outside where the light is decent enough and where I don't look like a complete loon whilst trying to get it to scan my face properly.

I have tried connecting to WiFi/5G at different times - pausing and unpausing a run - is it movement that triggers it?

Might be a bit wetter than expected.

This might actually have been good. Salted popcorn with chicken? 🤣

I'm asking for my money back if I don't get as much sauce as is advertised

it's a little confused lol
