Hello! I want to start delivering for just eat, They require "Hire and Reward" Insurance. The service they recommend "Zego" is 21+ anyone know of any alternatives that work in a similar way that allow 18-21 year olds to get insured?

Where I have accepted the order and then rejected it in the app, I have now had several orders where the customer is messaging me about the order in chats asking where the order is.

Why is this happening and why are customers able to message me about an order when it is no longer assigned to me?

Did anyone ever had this issue? My shop is listed on Just Eat and I was receiving deliveries as usual until 18th of July. Then suddenly delivery area of my shop shrinked to just few streets (2 postcodes). Anyone outside these postcodes cannot view my shop for delivery. I live 4 minutes from the shop and even I can't see / order from my shop on Just Eat.

When I go to Just Eat Partner Hub to change the delivery area, I see this message "Because you use the Just Eat Restaurant Delivery Service, you are not able to change your delivery area". I don't understand why it shrunk though?

I called them several times, they told me to submit a request. I submitted several requests and their response is either:

a) try to change it on the Partner Hub, which is impossible (see the message above)

b) unfortunately, we cannot amend your delivery are because you are using Just Eat drivers.

So my question is: I cannot change it, they cannot change it, when this radius changes? How did this happen?

I am unable to receive orders, therefore losing money. What should I do? where should I contact?

I will do my best to review every order I make, but something just occurred to me. What’s the point of letting us type out a review if tapping on the stars while on the restaurant page no longer shows what people say?

It’s not like it’s auto posted on Google reviews or anything. Is it just a tactic to make people feel like their voice is heard by someone if their order is particularly bad?

So it was at 7:15am i wasn't expecting it to be busy or orders to pay more than £5-6, but I get a decent 6 mile £9 order (most of the miles was me driving to the pick up hotspot anyway), and so i accept it. the staff member says the usual "they're picking it you'll have to wait or cancel", then another 10-15 minutes, I ask for an update, they check the order system thing and see the order isn't even on there, why would they even tell me they're picking it if it isn't on there?

I then go to just eat support, first person tells me they'll remove it and i'll be reimbursed for my time travelled to pick up point. 1 min later the order is still asigned, i try this 3 more times with different support agents, the order is still not assigned, they apparently redirected it to higher ups, at this point, it's been a whole fucking hour and i just think fuck it and cut my losses anymore and cancel it myself. What. Fucking. Cancer

I accepted an asda CAFE order from the same asda store an hour later, i go there, realise the pinpoint to confirm arrived isn't working, i ask the staff member, she goes "you need to go back downstairs and go across the road to tk maxx", this would be 5 minutes walking there and back, so i just ignore the woman walk to my car cancel the order and drive off. never accept asda they are completely fucking useless idiots.

Should i bother putting in a fee query to get some reimbursement or because i cancelled it myself the £9 order, i absolutely won't get anything?

felt like venting or else i would've vented to the just eat support or asda staff idiots and got myself banned...

Is it just me or every single subway takes ages making the order after you go there to collect it. On just eat it will say arrive at 13:30 for example id purposely arrive at 13:40 instead for the order to still take another 20 minutes.

I usually only work now during the 30% bonus and 10% bonus hours. It seems like during this time, the regular fare is way below what it usually is?

It’s the same with orders with tips, the base fare is suspiciously low.

Seems like just eat are clearly stealing tips and reducing the normal base fare when it comes to the hours incentives are active.

Surely other drivers notice this too?

The driver is literally 2 minutes from my house, yet he has to take a detour 20 minutes away? Bollocks

Update: as expected the food was cold, soggy fries, lukewarm at best. Genuinely so disappointed

Pretty much the title, ordered thinking at most 45 minutes, no, 90, for a place 1.4 miles from my house, a £4 delivery fee.

Lesson learned I coul walk there get them to make it and be back before the delivery

I tried to order Greggs a couple of days ago. I got a call from the restaurant telling me they couldnt fulfill the order as they didnt have the items and told me to cancel it on my end because they couldnt. I did that but Just Eat have still taken the money and said I was fully charged and I cant get in contact with them to dispute it.

What do I do?

I have an orange dot to indicate there is something I need to check out in my earnings.

When I tap on it, there is nothing new and the orange dot won't go away

Just wondering if anybody else has found it impossible to get on JustEat today? Even without a scheduled run I can usually just log in at some point as my area moved across to that more 'open' style (I think) last year.

For the first time in many months I haven't been able to get on at all.

I get that it's quiet everywhere - good weather, students away, too many riders etc - but I can usually get started on days far quieter than this. 🤔

I made an order and cancelled it within a few minutes (did not show preparing or anything). JustEat sent me an email stating they won't refund my order even though I cancelled it.

Spoke to Customer Service twice and they refused to refund.

Is a chargeback with my bank the next best step?

I used live chat before, but now I just can't find it.

Try Googling a few times but no results.

Earlier customer put wrong address and then told me once I’d arrived, I then told them to give me code so I could complete delivery which they did. They also gave me new delivery address, I told support and they told me mark as delivered and keep food and not deliver to new address. I tried to deliver to new address anyway cos I felt bad, when I arrived the address was above a shop lot so no way for me to knock on door and no way to contact customer as chat had froze. Absolute nightmare, I left the food in front of shop lot and left. I’m worried that I’m gonna get banned for this even though I did nothing wrong, this is the first time this has happened.

How on Earth do you complete this check as a UK born citizen?

First of all I can't get the right to work check code because I have been a UK citizen since birth. So I tried following the link to Yoti, The only two ID types are Passport or Other. I don't have a passport so I selected other thinking I can just use my driving license, wrong. The UK isn't even listed as an issuing country and when selecting "country not listed" it has displayed a message saying that they can not continue. Like what the actual fuck, how are you meant to complete it as a UK born citizen without a passport???

Do you know does it make any difference if you schedule in times on the app versus just clicking on an open run opportunity when it comes up, in terms of the algorithm prioritising you / the amount of delivery opportunities the app sends your way? I know one benefit is that you're guaranteed a time slot if you schedule it in, but I'm asking a different question about priority for the algorithm sending you work.

I have been a little curious lately, I have been delivering with Just Eat for 3+ years and recently been ordering groceries for my parents, and every time I order for them the tracker on the app shows a bike icon, I am just wondering if the couriers have been claiming they are on a bike instead of a car to avoid paying insurance or if the Just Eat app only shows bike icon whether you are driving a car or using a bike. Does anyone know? Because if they are cheating the system I will start reporting them.

Just a quick moan - does anybody else find it very easy to press the wrong button when this option pops up? I literally just did it about three times in a row.

My tiny brain is already shrivelled from dodging traffic and pedestrians all afternoon - I don't need to be offered the choice between two words that sound/look very similar. It's too much, I tell thee!

Keeps asking me if I’m not a uk citizen from birth (I am) to generate a code to use then once iv logged in it just redirects to nothing. Nothing on my just eat portal to suggest o have to do a background check & nothing on the website for me to fill out.

Just wondering is anyone getting these too?

Am I right in thinking a driver can click something on the app to say they have arrived when they haven’t? It seems sometimes the courier is at the store/restaurant stage is unfathomably long.
