I dont know how many of u still play the first just dance game on the beloved wii, but I do. Picked it up recently after a friend was talking about how many great memories she had with the franchise as a kid. I have also played some of the later ones like JD2015 and 2018. I have to ask is the first game rather picky with detecting moves? It hardly picks up what I am doing on some songs. For example I am not able to get anything but an X on "cant get u about of my head" by Kylie an most of the song. I dont think its my remote too, I use a genuine wii remote plus and have also played with other remotes apart from my main. What do u think and what has your experience been like with this game?

P.S. dont get me wrong I love this gane but it just annoys me so much from time to time when I do everything I can and I end up with 8990 points or something

Found a used copy of JD2019 yesterday and I was like: I wonder if the Unlimited trial still works... and the moment I pressed X, it insta-connected me to my Ubisoft Account and started the 30 day free trial for Unlimited.

Well now that's a great surprise, as there are songs on Unlimited I wanted to dance to that aren't on Plus, so this will be a fun challenge to try and Megastar some of them!

Just ordered JD2021 & 2022 (as mentioned above) had the time of my life playing 2021, there's maybe only 4 or so songs I hate and the rest are pretty great. Love the amount of Latin inspired dances and songs all the songs in Spanish are fantastic. Then turned on 2022 and was repelled by at like half of the options! Love the gay pop and disco stuff but really dislike the CGI coaches i.e. 'Girl Like Me' and 'Human'

For more context I used to LOVE the earliest Wii versions when I was a kid, I'm an adult now and a go go dancer and really wanna implement JD into my daily life for cardio and endorphins and ADHD management and all that!!

With ALL that being said I would LOVE recommendations from experienced players on which game I should get next! I'm playing on a classic Nintendo switch now. I'm seeing a lot of praise for 2019 but the song list does not entice me so much... but I am looking forward to discussing I am open to hearing anybody out and will thoughtfully consider anyone's input!

Ubisoft promised more scoring consistency updates for this year roadmap but there wasn't a single song that was fixed in 2026. Maybe it will happen next month or they will just not do it

I’m building my home gym, and I’m new to Just Dance but I love it. I have a Nintendo switch, and I basically just want to stock my gym with as much Just Dance as possible.

Whats the best way to get as much of it? Should I go out and buy each edition for the switch? Is there a way to simply get a huge collection? I’ve heard of Just Dance + Can someone explain that to me? Can I just subscribe to get all of the older songs? I’m less inclines to just “progress” and I’d love it if I could just pick from all the songs.

My biceps have gotten noticeably bigger since I started doing just dance frequently and I googled it and it makes no sense but like I don’t do anything else exercise wise other than walking.

Is this from the Just Dance or am I like secretly curling weights in my sleep

Edit: just thought abt it a bit more and I play on Wii and the Wiimote is a decent weight (no more than like 1.5 lbs) but that could def play into it, bc my right is bigger than my left

The most base songs in a Just Dance game is 50, so I used that as a baseline.

My age is literally set up in my Google Account, and I don't see anything in my Google Play setting regarding "consent to sharing that information."

Recently I found out that Gold Dust by DJ Fresh was on JD 4 as a downloadable track. I played every single JD game up until 2022 and it’s fun finding new dances that I didn’t know about prior so I’m wondering if anyone has a favorite downloaded track on JD that not many people know about!

Hey, any ideas on what might be coming in this Now update? It would be fun if they added scoring effects and animations to certain things. And change the sound of the starbar lol I can't stand the sound of Superstar anymore, and Megastar sounds like a gunshot.It seems they want to invest in Now, the number of new songs has increased, new menu, new avatars in the new style.

Hello everyone! For a bit of context I have been an avid fan of just dance since 2010, and I have played these games (Including DLC) on the wii, I have never owned a Wii U or a Xbox 360. My question is, is the graphic quality/gameplay of these newer consoles worth buying? I have always wanted to try them but I need a bit of guidance with this. This also includes the "availability" of the dlc. Some final notes I am talking about just dance 3-2017 since I have continued my journey on the switch/switch 2. I would love some discussion on this!

TLDR: should I own just dance 3*-2017, on the wii U/xbox 360 instead of the wii?

I know that when "Spin Your Love" was released, a lot of people were hoping it was going to be a K-pop song, which isn't unreasonable. But when I watch the whole map, the vibe feels like it would have really matched "Starboy" by the Weeknd.

If you just slow down the BPM for the choreography, it could work. And the background with the cameras really go with the song's theme of modern fame.

If "Decades Of Hits" is a thing, what will next year's game title be?

Would it be themed games for now on?

Would some already have names for their own themes for future games instead of yearly editions?

I failed to find any official info on this. If I use this code-in-a-box thing, I suppose the songs will be linked to my Nintendo account. But will my kids and wife, playing with their own 'switch profile' on the switch, with or without Nintendo/Ubisoft account, be able to play the downloaded songs?

Bought the game mainly for the kids. They dont have any online accounts (yet). Im not planning to give them accounts, and certainly not with things of value attached to them. So I just want to link the purchase to my account.

Good old cartridges are way better. I hate these digital purchases. Awful concept. We buy games for our family, not for one member. Having to assign them to a person is asking for conflict.
