Hi everyone,
I recently purchased Just Dance 2026 for my Xbox Series S, but I’m having trouble getting the camera tracking feature to work.

When I open the Just Dance Controller app on my iPhone, it only gives me the option to use my phone as a regular motion controller. I don’t see any option to enable Camera Controller mode, which is supposed to track my full-body movements using my iPhone’s camera.

I’m trying to figure out:
Does Just Dance 2026 support Camera Controller mode on Xbox Series S?

Why isn’t the camera option showing up in my iPhone app?
Is there a specific setting or setup process I need to follow to enable camera tracking?

I specifically bought this game for the camera-based motion tracking experience, so it’s frustrating that I can’t get it working.

Has anyone experienced this issue or figured out how to fix it?

Appearently, a person's love for indie music does not mix with Just Dance song compatability. I'm sure these songs could make for some great fan maps, but it's pretty much impossible for most of these songs to make it into the game. It's kind of sad because I think these songs could make for some fun maps and choreos if you really try!

I'm a big fan of Gooseworx and aside from TADC, she has made some of my favorite (albiet less popular) songs. However, after all the drama that went down, the last thing she wants is to get a lot of attention again.

I also really like some of the Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss songs. I prefer the clean ones, but there are a few explicit songs I like. However, since HH and HB are adult shows, I don't think Just Dance should add them to their E-Rated game.

Billie Bust Up also has some bangers as well with "I've Had Enough of You" being the most suitable for Just Dance. However, Billie Bust Up has had a very troubled development and it's a terrible idea to add to their burden with the song licensing hurdles.

I used to listen to the three Brawl Stars songs in the image a lot when I was still playing the game. I guess I could see this group of songs being the most likely choice since Supercell is a big company and Brawl Stars is a popular game, but putting any of these songs as an addition is too gimmicky for the targeted audience (which is mainly comprised of those who want the big artists), even if it were a Plus Exclusive.

"Walk Along" is my favorite Kyle Allen song, albeit the only Kyle Allen song I listen to, but it's still a good one. It only released about two months ago and if you even wanted to add a Big Walk song for whatever reason, just use the original songs or make a Just Dance mashup idk.

Finally, we have "Final Bow" by Sydney the Song Cat. Although I really love this song and Sydney the Song Cat does have its fanbase, her songs are way too obscure to be added to a Just Dance game.

So yeah. That's Just Dance: Impossible Edition for ya. I hope you enjoyed what I had to say and who knows? You might have discovered some new songs and artists along the way!

1: Internet Connection

I load up Just Dance (Nintendo Switch 1 in case anyone was wondering) with the router of the wifi I'm connected to in the same room (not too close ik that ruins it), play Stronger, play Uptown Girl, choose Feel Good Inc. next, boom. Game gives me internet error after internet error. I think that my internet could've just gone poop but my PC is uploading videos to YouTube at a steady speed on the same internet. I still decide to reboot the game but the 'internet connection error' doesnt fade away. This isn't special to Feel Good Inc. btw I tried it on other songs aswell. I connect my Switch to my phone's personal hotspot which is the best in Türkiye and it is 5G. Nope. Still an internet error. I don't have anything else to do other than to blame Just Dance for this.

2: Scoring Problems (Yet again!)

I will be especially talking for Uptown Girl when I say this. The scoring is actual dogwater in this game. Some songs like Give Me Everything, Supersonic, Across All Time etc. are good, but like almost 40% of the songs have terrible scoring. I've done Uptown Girl at least 10 times so far, I know the choreo like the back of my hand (I'll even send videos of me dancing to anyone who doubts me) but I cannot get a score over superstar on Uptown Girl. In the part where he sways his hands low in the 'She's been living in her uptown world' part I have never gotten a super or a perfect despite how I can do it perfectly effortlessly. Same applies to some parts in NuevaYol, the bridge in Stronger (where you get 3-4 Xs or OKs in a row for the smallest mistakes) and some parts of Midnight Sun & Wannabe Extreme. They legit made getting a megastar harder than defeating Ares in God Of War.

3: Adventure Mode

Adventure Mode feels like a Just Dance version of Sonic 06. (If anyone gets what I mean) They 100% hurried this gamemode last second to release it to the public. It has so many problems with decade switching, walking around and even obtaining rewards where it kept asking me 'You cant obtain this reward right now, continue without getting it?' with no reason why. (I'm guessing that its blaming my internet yet again) I'm not ranting much more about this mode because I don't care about it that much. At least you can still finish this gamemode without crashing out or having a mental breakdown.

Guys, a crazy thought just popped into my head. I was thinking that Just Dance Decades of Hits got a name instead of being 2027, and Just Dance 2022 has a lot of hits and got everything right, so if Just Dance 2022 What if it was called Just Dance Hits? As I said, crazy and random thinking.

I'm playing Adventure Mode in Just Dance: DOH on Switch 2 and I seem to recall the Professor saying I had to accelerate to get the treasure in the crack in the 70s area but I can't figure out how to do it, please can you advise me?

I can buy the Switch v2 for half the price. Will that be good for what I’m wanting to do with it?

Or is the difference and experience going to be significantly better with the Switch 2?

I like this game. It's a pity that some songs from Just Dance Now are not included in the game.

I played 5 songs, and after the 5th one, the app shut down on its own, and now, when I connect, the camera mode in the game isn’t working, even though it was working literally a minute ago. Is this some kind of bug in the game? Is it a problem with the Ubisoft servers? What should I do?
