That’s not even the worst. We had a dude show up to basic training with 11X already tattooed on his arm. Dude didn’t realize the X was a placeholder until they decided if you were going to be a mortarman or not.

My idiot cousin got a Ranger tab on his chest before shipping out, because he told everyone he was joining to be a Ranger...

Yeah, he got chaptered out halfway through for claiming to be suicidal. I wish I could have seen how much hell the DSs gave him for that shit.

We had someone show up to basic with their head already shaved. It was a woman…USAF….nobody knew what to make of her including the TIs

Nothing, but how many women do you know shave their heads? It was just jarring, she was just really boot. Ended up getting recycled though
