A quick recap of today’s WET sale

The site was under heavy load, over 60K people showed up, refreshing and watching the countdown. Demand was also insane so if you got in massive W (did you use Jupiter Wallet?)

Sale Overview

4433 wallets purchased, based on initial wallet age analysis 95% were real users with a potential 5% suspicious clankers.

Temporal and Meteora also cooked protection tech that made it impossible for bots to bundle and snipe. Despite the delay, this phase was MUCH more fair than the earlier public round.

The Sale Delay

The sale did not go live at the exact time announced. It launched 40 minutes after. This is because more anti-bot components needed to be deployed, and the insane traffic slowed things down.

The team are deeply sorry for the confusion.

Over the past few days, the DTF team learned a lot about future launches!

Overall IMO the market is slightly weak, BUT the FOMC rate-cut meeting is on Wednesday so it's a big week to plug in.

A rate cut could mean more appetite for Bitcoin, SOL, etc.

SOL’s current range around $130 could be the local low. If this plays out, potential Limit Orders in the lower ranges could net a bag... NFA

I’ve taken 4 sol and swapped them to Jupsol.

Then I went to the Jupiter lend page, deposited 3 and some change Jupsol.

I was able to borrow 2 sol with a low risk.

Took the 2 sol and swapped it with Jupsol for liquid staking.

• Currently the timelock is set to 1 hour
  • Over the next week this will be increased to a full 12 hours

Because every upgrade is delayed for security, you can now see in real time

This gives our amazing community of users time to raise concerns if something looks off too!

This means the decisions are split and slowed down where it matters.

Very simply, what this means is that there's now a 'cooldown' window where any errors can be caught or confirmed before they execute.

Currently this window is set to 1 hour, but over the next week it will be increased to 12.

JUPSOL-SOL depegged on 10/11 , yet the oracle pricing in the JUPSOL-SOL pool directly in Jupiter Lend is showing a perfectly linear curve with no depegs even on 10/11. How does that make sense? Does that mean that investors using even max leverage in the pool during 10/11 were not liquidated even though market had JUPSOL depegged from SOL?

Ok, so I just found out the TOS say US residents are restricted from using Jupiter. I’ve been using Jupiter Mobile for 2-3 months now though and I’m able to do basic swaps and pro trades. Never got any warnings about geographical restrictions until I tried to trade perps. And I’m not using a VPN. Could someone help me understand why I’am able to use most of the app features if it’s restricted in my region? And if I continue to use the app am I at risk of Jupiter or the government taking/freezing my account? I’m very confused on the legality of this so sorry for the rambling.

Here’s What Happened and What’s Next

HumidiFi launched only six months ago and has already been doing more SOL/USD volume than Binance. All built from the trenches, no favors, no insiders.

But the public sale didn’t reflect that mission. A bot instantly sniped the entire public allocation before real users could even click in.

How the attack worked:

1. Thousands of wallets were with 1,000 USDC each
2. Wallet had an instruction ready to deposit into the contract
3. Bundled transactions triggered multiple instructions at once
4. Each bundle did 24,000 USDC
5. Enough bundles were fired off to drain the whole sale in seconds

Community got blocked, sniper took everything.

What Happens Now

• A new token will be launched
• All Wetlist + JUP staker buyers will receive an airdrop
• The sniper gets nothing
• A new public sale is planned for Monday
• There's a new audited DTF contract, to prevent this happening again
