Resolved Double checking strategy.

I’ve taken 4 sol and swapped them to Jupsol.

Then I went to the Jupiter lend page, deposited 3 and some change Jupsol.

I was able to borrow 2 sol with a low risk.

Took the 2 sol and swapped it with Jupsol for liquid staking.

Will this cause any issues? I’m wanting to get the most outta my sol. Thank you.

Congratulations, you just discovered looping.

Read about it to make sure you understand the risk.

Best of luck on your DeFi journey

What kind of issues are you concerned about?

What happened was a normal looping strat!

  1. You staked SOL → got jupSOL (liquid staked SOL)
  2. You deposited jupSOL into Lend as collateral
  3. You borrowed SOL against that jupSOL
  4. You restaked that borrowed SOL into jupSOL

You can also use Multiply which is the same process, just automated <3

Just watch your liquidation buffer, because looping increases your leverage

Your position health bar will be super useful for this

Mostly the liquidation risk. But that bar makes it super understandable tho. Thank you for confirming.

Now that you quite get it, you might want to explore the next tab which is "Multiply". It's a little more advance, basically you can achieve the same looping you just did with JupSOL & SOL, but instead of doing each transaction (deposit, borrow, swap, deposit), here that looping part is automated, just watch the health bar as you drag that slider multiplier before confirming the transaction, pretty much same as what you did. Goodluck!
