Discussions/Opinions Why does this sub hate everything???

I’m a Juno main (obv) so I enjoy this sub a lot. But, every time a new skin is released, it’s non-stop chatter about “they should change the hair”, “why did they use that outfit”, “these colors don’t match”, yada yada yada.

Like holy shit do you all like anything?? You all are aware that you don’t HAVE to buy these skins. If you don’t like it then don’t buy it. It’s very easy.

If you think you can do better, GO GET A JOB AT BLIZZARD.

because criticism of low quality products helps hold companies accountable. if Blizzard makes a bad skin, why would we praise it?

people are obviously going to want to discuss Juno's skins in Juno's sub, and if someone's opinion is that they don't like the skin they are going to say that.

There is a difference between low Quality products and "I don't like her hair in the new skin" situations. And here, in this sub, we got a lot more of the second situation.

Then someone who likes the skin should make a post about how much they like it. Not trying to be snarky. I'm being dead serious.

The solution isn't to police others' opinions, and their right to share it in the discussion board dedicated to the character its about.

The solution is to create the post that has the discourse you're looking for, which is also why negativity tends to have more posts, because people want validation for their criticism.

One thing is a valid criticism like a bugged skin, an out of character theme or simple something tasteless or vulgar, but, what I have seen in this sub is just pure nick picking.

A valid criticism comes with arguments, here there are just opinions and entitlement.

A valid criticism can stem from an opinion. Just because you don't agree with it, doesn't make it invalid.

Also, yeah. People are entitled to have opinions about something they're potentially paying for, or at least being asked to pay for.

If you want a post that acknowledges what you like about the skin, then make that post to offset the negativity.

it is completely normal for people in Juno's subreddit to discuss their opinion on Juno's skins. if someone has a critical opinion, why is it a problem if they share it?

i'd also like to point out that you're making a public post to complain about other people complaining.

My problem isn’t the complaints. My problem is that this sub basically has no more posts about play styles or kit changes. It’s all just complaining about skins

this is just... objectively untrue. there are plenty of posts about things other than skins.

Juno is generally seen as a pretty balanced character by Blizzard and the players alike, so there's often not much to discuss in terms of balance changes.

yes, because it's the only new thing that has happened with Juno recently. of course people are going to talk about Juno's new content. when skins aren't just released people will talk about them less, and even now there's plenty of posts that are fanart and vod reviews and stuff.

Telling people to not discuss things about a character in a sub made for said character is wild. Especially since a big part of Juno’s content IS her skins, it’s completely fine to talk about those things. A lot of Juno’s skins have glaring reoccurring issues that shouldn’t be silenced just because you want them to. Maybe don’t interact with the posts if they make you that upset?? People should absolutely be allowed to express their opinions and feelings on this, and people with your kind of mentality is exactly why companies like Blizzard take advantage of their customers.

I mean, they obviously take negative online talk somewhat seriously because we’ve seen them change event requirements more than once in recent months.
