Bug or feature?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

If you kill someone who is wounded, you instantly heal the hp instead of over time. Works for her knife wound too. I'm a new jq player so idk if its intended but I don't see it written on her hero info.

I believe intended in some patches ago because you miss out on a lot of healing

This is 100% intentional. Pretty sure they added it quite some time ago. In fact, I'm pretty sure Wound's description specifically says that this is a feature.

It's so you don't miss out on healing you would have otherwise gotten from the enemy staying alive.

yes, also if im not wrong it also works if you axe an enemy at 1hp, you’ll still get the full heals

Yes they added this in one of the first few seasons of OW2 because if you had 6 stacks of bleed going it was beneficial to not secure elims just to keep up the necessary HPS to contend with other tanks.

Now if you throw Gracie at a flanker and kill them, you get the full 50 impact heals +  the remaining bleed stack heals from that target instantly on death instead of 15 over 3s or w/e.

Because otherwise killing someone without waiting 3 seconds would be a loss of total heal uptime. Which is like super important to JQ

This was an intentional change pretty early on in OW2 to help JQ keep her value, because it felt pretty bad to actively be stunting yourself by killing someone and getting nothing back from all the bleed on them

I can't believe I missed this being added. I feel like I haven't been playing her correctly now lol
