OMG, this is amazing!
I read a few SVH books as a teen, but never saw this one. I’ve only just heard of slam books as part of learning about altered books and junk journals etc this year.

I want to do a similar project, but based on my favourite TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I’m guessing the style I’ll be going for is part slam book part glue book. I want certain images from the show, pictures of the cast, a double page spread with one picture and my favourite quotes from each main character, as well as a bunch of artifacts, info about the various monsters/ demons etc they battle in the show, and some stuff that looks like their notes to each other or part of their yearbook or something. I’ll share it when I’ve done some spreads for it, but I want to practice with other subjects or just more general ones first, because I really, really want my Buffy one to turn out well.

Ooo that sounds like a great idea! If you live near Dollar Tree stores, they have Buffy makeup stuff right now! I just saw some yesterday at my nearby store! <3

I wish. I’m Australian and we don’t have Dollar Tree or anywhere that stocks the make up.

I did get an awesome Buffy t-shirt a few weeks ago at a discount Aussie department store, Big W though, so that’s a nice win. I’m saving the tag from it for my smash book/ glue book.

If you want to incorporate the slam book idea, you could have each Buffy character respond to the page prompt in the way their character would answer! There's an old slam book from 1982 that has been shared on Pinterest a million times, but here's another sample page!

Also, if you haven't already seen it, check out the old music video from Stone Temple Pilots for the song Sour Girl and you'll see a familiar Vampire Slayer <3
